In a great move, the Dolphins re-signed DT Randy Starks to a two-year deal. We were initially worried after the team let Paul Solai walk, but Dolphins management saved at least one of our two key defensive tackles.  Losing BOTH Starks and Solai would haveRead More →

The Miami Herald is reporting that the Dolphins are top contenders to sign KC left tackle Branden Albert.  Let’s hope this is so. Last year around this time, we also had a chance to get Albert, but the Dolphins management decided that Jonathan Martin was a better and more loyal option at LT.   That was perhaps the worst misjudgment in sports history, but we have a chance to make up for it now. Dolphins Truth optimistically looks forward to the beginning of free agency tomorrow.  Stay tuned for our reports.Read More →

To make matters clear, none of our writers here at Dolphins Truth have ever said  that Richie Incognito is 100% innocent. He used vile language that is not appropriate.  However,  Jonathan Martin used the same identical language. Martin sent death threats to Richie. Martin spoke of using drugs and prostitutes and drunkenness.  When Martin talks about those things, Ted Wells says Martin was just goofing around.  But when Richie talks about those things, he is an abusive bully.  Is that objective? Is that fair? Ted Wells refuses to acknowledge this. Stephen Ross refuses to discuss it. Joe Philbin refuses to mention it. Dolphins Truth DOESRead More →

Let’s hope it’s the start of something great. It’s definitely the start of something smart. The Dolphins re-signed Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes, ending the speculation that Grimes would get the franchise tag or that he’d become a free agent. This is huge, positive news forRead More →

As we often mention here at Dolphins Truth, owner Stephen Ross does too many things unrelated to helping the Miami Dolphins win.  Mr. Ross is extremely active, but he is not productive.  What does that mean? The latest example is the anti-bullying legislation/task force that Mr. Ross initiated with some law professors and NY University.  In a recent conference call, Mr. Ross explained his involvement. After listening to the entire call, it is (once again) very apparent that this endeavor will not help the Miami Dolphins whatsoever.  And should THAT be Mr. Ross’s prime concern. Here are a few of the highlights of Mr. Ross’sRead More →

Another off-season is upon us, and this is usually the time when Stephen Ross does his worst damage.  This year is no exception.  Mr. Ross is already starting. Last year at this time, the Dolphin players, and fans, and we at Dolphins Truth begged Mr. Ross toRead More →

Well, it’s not surprising, but it is a little disturbing.  And possibly dangerous for the Dolphins success. Stephen Ross has ignored the wishes of the Miami Dolphins players and fans.  He fired some staff members who were involved in some locker room teasing.  Remember, every single Dolphin playerRead More →

Dolphins Truth recently had a chance to examine the entire Ted Wells report, and we came to three important conclusions: Richie Incognito and a few other Dolphins teased Jonathan Martin. Martin did notRead More →

Now the report is finally out. Now we see that Jonathan Martin has won.  Judas got to keep his silver AND got away with the betrayal too.  We thought Ted Wells was smarter.  We certainly believed he was more fair. When Richie Incognito revealed text messages between himself andRead More →

We’ve all seen the texts.  It went both ways.  That is a fact.  Jonathan Martin threatened to kill Richie Incognito’s family.  He called Richie names.  And he got away with it. Now the coward has  won.  Judas got his wish.  Benedict Arnold conned the NFL into believing that this wholeRead More →

It seems that Ted Wells has been preparing his Incognito-Martin report for about 17 years, doesn’t it? Wells was appointed in early November, after Martin turned his back on his teammates in October and ran away. Wells interviewed all the parties involved over a few weeks. That process was pretty done in early November. Here we sit, more than three months later, awaiting this slowpoke to deliver his report. Boy, I wish I had 3+ months to write reports. Roger Goodell is obviouslyRead More →

It’s still the beginning of the year, but 2014’s best comedy is out already.  It’s called the Jonathan Martin interview publicity stunt, and it aired on NBC. Dolphins Truth is happy to provide you a look at this complete stunt, and not the just the snippets you’ve read about: No, it’s not a comedy because a 300-lb man felt picked on.  It’s not a comedy because he turned his back on his team.  It’s not comedic to hear him say how no Dolphin contacted him (all right, we admit that part is pretty funny…Martin claimsRead More →

In an interview with NBC News on Tuesday, Jonathan Martin, the traitor to the Dolphins, said, “Wah wah wah.”  Wait, we made a mistake and he didn’t really say that. He did, however, say that players used vulgar language in the locker room, and that is why he turned his back on the team and quit.Read More →

The Miami defense gave up about 20 points per game.* That is an outstanding number, and every Dolphin executive, coach, player, and fan needs to realize that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It’s such a simple philosophy, but oh so true. * Actually, the Defense gave up a lot less that 20 points per game. If you take away all the free points that Ryan Tannehill handed to other teams, the average is a lot less. It’s not Kevin Coyle’s fault that Tannehill threw a pick-6 to Buffalo, for example, and toRead More →
