I’d like to think that the Dolphins gave Cam an option: “We are rebuilding this season. We’d love to have you back but we understand if you choose to look elsewhere.”
Instead, unfortunately, I’m sure it was more like, “Our new Coach Flo says you are not good enough any more. Goodbye.”
