The disaster is now official. Add two more skill players to the list of offensive producers who are now gone. Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson now join MarQuis Gray in the medical ward. Alongside Pro Bowl additions Josh Sitton and Daniel Kilgore. And Kilgore’s backup Jake Brendal.
Tannehill has missed time. DeVante Parker as well. (No jokes this time, just listing major important players who’ve been hurt).
Of our starting 11 on offense, 5 are now out for the year and 2 others have been limited. Those are tough odds to overcome. The bothersome thing is that none of these injuries are the old ACL. Instead, it’s a hodgepodge of ailments that just struck us at the wrong place, wrong time.
Albert Wilson is a stud athlete in his prime and he hurt his hip? Man, that is a grampa injury. Josh Sitton tore up his rotator cuff? That is for pitchers. Don’t forget Laremy Tunsil falling down in the shower and missing a game. Oh wait, that was a while ago. These freak injuries continue to mount and continue to hurt.

Oh boy. I guess I’ll jump ship then and start rooting for the Saints.
Well no trading Parker now. He has to live up to his potential now or he is risking his NFL career. Miami isn’t re signing him that’s for sure and if he doesn’t take advantage of being the only healthy outside receiver left then no one will pay him anything more than a couple million. I’m routing for him, he wasn’t bad in 2016 and if he doesn’t step up this offense without Wilson will somehow get worse than it already is.
4 years-8 TDs under 2k yards. I’m with ADMIN,trade his uselass, underachieving ass for whatever is offered and move on from yet another bust by the worst Back Office in football.
ADMIN,your boy Ajayi was traded for a bag of chips and Chico Alonso. Suh is gone Landry is gone We’re bereft of talent. Charles Bust Harris
At least Stills won’t be kneeling during the National Anthem now….
Andy, that is one of the funniest posts in the history of my site. good one !
Admin………. sorry for pointing to another site’s story on your site but for any of you who haven’t seen Armando Salguero latest story, The losing philosophy the Miami Dolphins have been applying to their quarterback spot, over at the Herald it is a must read! Probably one of his best stories. He is apparently finished taking the teams talking points and reprinting them.
I don’t mind links and references to other articles, especially when they make a good point or gives us a conversation topic. I do agree with Mando’s article today. I think of teams like the Steelers and Ravens, New England of course, and the Packers. Seems like no matter who they lose on defense, or which offensive stars they lose, as long as the QB plays consistently well, they remain winners.
Big Ben loses a defensive star or two every single year. This year, he’s without the best RB in the NFL. And after a slow start and some adjustments, they look extremely strong again. It’s all about the consistent QB. Consistency can be better than greatness, if you’re only allowed to choose one over the other. But Consistent Greatness, where you get them both? THAT makes a champion.
His last article about Gase being a mediocre head coach is also spot on. I never really liked the guy much before this year, but to his credit he has been killing it this year.
Local beat writers always, always face a predicament: If they write their true feelings, they run the risk of getting their media access denied in the future. Adam Gase is not likely to call upon Reporter Smith at a press conference if Smith recently lambasted him in a column. So they tend tame their writing and not say anything too bad.
However, in the middle of year 3 with Gase, the writers are able to open up a bit more.
I don’t have access to Gase or Ross to begin with, so it does me no good to hold back. So instead I just speak the truth.
