Another reason how Stephen Ross kills his own team:
“Ross has said he prefers to hire first-time head coaches and typically wants his coaches to be on the younger side, which might explain why former Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson (53) and former Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell (67) are in the mix for other openings, but seemingly not Miami’s.”
Hope it is just a rumor but I heard Vance Joseph was one of the frontrunners for head coach only the dolphins

Yeah that rumor is persistent. Omar Kelly had an article stating that Ross is very much proactive when it comes to hiring minority candidates and that is why Vance Joseph might be in the mix. Flores was a good coach who deserved the job on merit. I don’t know enough about Vance Joseph, but I know he had his chance here already and in Denver and wasn’t too successful.
The longer this plays out, the longer I think it might be the San Fran OC. We can’t announce it yet because his team is still alive in playoffs. Or maybe Bienemy or the Rams’ assistant RB coach.
Sean Peyton is leaving NO. Would be nice to see him in Miami but that’s too obvious a hire for Ross to pull the trigger on. We will have to endure 2 years of growing pains with a rookie.

I think Peyton is a cocky prick, but he’d be a vast improvement over any of the other candidates out there except for maybe Pederson…who surprisingly isn’t getting many calls it seems
Also… Whah whah whah. We have to change the overtime rules. Whah whah.
No, you have to stop the opponent.
This is what Ross needs to do. So tired of the northeast fans coming to Miami in December and eliminating our home field crowd noise.
