A.  Ryan Tannehill
B.  Sam Young

Who was responsible for calling a 60-yard bomb on third-and-inches while we held a comfortable 14-point lead?

A.  Adam Gase
B.  Sam Young

I’m not saying Young is an All Pro.  By all accounts, he stinks.   But so does every other 4th-string practice squadder on every team.  He didn’t expect to play last Sunday and it showed.  But you know his crime?   He missed a few blocks.   He missed an assignment.   These missed blocks should NOT cause panic in the heart of a 7th-year QB.   But they did.   And now the young man has been cut, in yet another effort of scapegoating a poor 4th Quarter by Tannehill.

We are already down two O linemen, and Laremy Tunsil’s noggin is iffy at best.   This is not the time to cut someone on that line.   At least he’s a body, which is what we need

  1. Admin….. you have some nerve questioning a move by Adam Gase. When you look at his personal moves over the last few years you should know that although small minded idiots like us can’t understand how this will positively effect Miami down the road Adam Gase always makes the right moves.

Let’s recap just the end of last year!

At the end of a 6-10 season (which were probably headed for again) a sickening feeling permeated the Dolphins locker room because they knew that they blew key games that they should have won and it cost them any shot at a wildcard.

Adam Gase revamped his coaching staff after the season ended replacing 5 of his 8 position coaches and retooled the power structure of his coaches.

The biggest move was to replace OC (Loser) Clyde Chrstensen (who in all fairness had no say) with (Even bigger Loser) Dowell Loggins (Who in all fairness has no experience and no clue)

    So lets recap…….

Last year at this point in the season we had been beat by NE in Foxbourgh – Same this year!

Last year at this point in the season we were embarrassed by Cincinnati – Same this year!

Last year we barely beat a pathetic Browns team – Same this year as we barley beat the Titans who obviously suck!

The only difference is we started out drawing the Jets game two and last year we didn’t play them until game 8. Once we get through 8 games the record is sure to even out and be the same as last year.

So just in this brief example you can see how all the coaching moves Gase made has made an impact this year… so again ADMIN how dare you second guess Adam Gase….

As a side note we should all be happy for Sam Young because no matter where he ends up he will be in a much better system than he was in here.

  2. In other news Tannehill is listed as questionable for tomarrows game. He practiced Thursday and Friday so maybe he kept getting the ball batted down or couldn’t throw it to the ground or kept hitting his linemen in the head with the ball and it was so apparent that even bone head Gase couldn’t not see the obvious truth and is sitting Thill

  3. We cut a DL 10 days ago when we were already short there and NOW we cut an OL where we are short again! It’s called Gase logic.

  4. I read an article (online) from the Herald today about Ross possibly throwing in the towel and doing an actual rebuild from top to bottom. Parts of it made sense to me. Of course,it said Tranny was a huge mistake and Gase tied his wagon to him.

    1. We can only pray

1 – that he does it

      And

2 – a real gm or HC wants to come here and do it

      1. Just like before,no +GM wants to come here.

        1. Yep and the vicious cycle will continue for us

  5. Brock Osweilier is starting this week. So in a weird twisted way I get my wish of seeing a different QB start for Miami. Just wish it was someone that actually played like an NFL QB.

    1. You never know maybe he plays well or better yet Gase runs the ball today consistently giving his QB a chance…

      1. Was thinking the same as FFF. Maybe Gase Calls one or two running plays instead of passing every single down

        1. This team wins when they are around 50/50 but Gase continues to go 75/25 pass. How logical is this but his hand may be forced now…

          1. Bears have the best run defense in football so this could get really really ugly.

  6. If Young beat out Sterup it means that we have a worse back up now by this cut. Logically makes no sense unless there’s something we don’t know.

Apparently Harris is also inactive along with Wake. Just gets better… opportunity for the young kid to show something and he’s inactive better be hurt otherwise this is embarrassing…
