Adam Gase got rid of his best offensive player because, he claims, “it was just time to move on.”
I’d have more respect for Gase if he said “No Comment” or “Because I wanted to.” Those are honest answers, at least. Instead, we got some bulls*** story about having ups and downs with Ajayi and how Gase prefers his chances with Damien Williams and Senorise Perry.
It’s yet another slap in the face to Dolfans everywhere. How many times must we endure management’s lies to us fans. Like when Nick Saban said he wasn’t going to Alabama and when Bill Parcells said he wasn’t going to trade Jason Taylor and when Stephen Ross said that Adam Gase was a good coach? How much dishonesty do we have to endure?
When Gase achieves 2 or 3 Super Bowl championships under his belt, THEN I’d trust him to get rid of anyone he wants. As one of our readers pointed out, “My way or the highway” is an awesome philosophy, but only after you PROVE that “your way” works. Gase has proven nothing, except that he blames everyone else for his horrendous offense.
Gase also commented that Damien Williams “does nothing but make plays.” He failed, however, to distinguish the fact that fumbling, running backwards, falling down, and and missing assignments are also ways to make a play. What does Williams bring to the table? What plays is Gase referring to?

I got a call from a Cowboy fan friend of mine, screaming at me about why did we “give away Ajayi for basically free” to Cowboy-rival Eagles. Cowboy fans hate us. Patriot and Eagle fans thank us.
It’s a real shame for the Miami media to pussyfoot around Adam Gase so much too, never once asking the difficult questions or the specific questions. They don’t challenge him whatsoever, and that makes his smug attitude even worse.
They say, “Can you please comment on the Jay Ajayi trade”
DolphinsTruth would say: “Why did you trade your best player?”
They say, “Did you and Jay Ajayi get along?”
DolphinsTruth would ask, “When your leading rusher, who is a Pro Bowler, wanted the ball more, why did you make that out to be a bad thing and blame him?”
Hell, I want them to ask him “why did you go out and get raggedyass Jay Cutler?”
I’m just hoping that Drake rips it up and makes everyone forget Ajayi. He can also catch which helps. If you can’t catch you better block and apparently Ajayi had that problem. I guess we’ll see!
It’s questionable whether Ajayi even has another full season on those bad knees of his. He doesn’t block well, can’t catch/run routes well and he has a problem with authority. I know it feels like we got shortchanged but a 4th round pick seems pretty fair for a guy that could fall off very quickly physically or become a team cancer because of his “All about me personality”.
