On Sunday, skipping the first 59 minutes of this game, it all came down to our $50 Million quarterback completing a pass or two on the final drive. He failed.

At Buffalo, it all came down to our $50 Million quarterback completing a pass or two on the final drive. He failed. Interception.

Against New England in week 2, it all came down to our $50 Million quarterback completing a pass or two on the final drive. He failed. He ran out of bounds and a sack.

It’s time. It’s really time. Despite good opponents, these were 3 winnable games where Tua faltered when we needed him to step up.

Chris Grier’s defense (in no way do I blame Anthony Weaver for this ragtag roster) is horrible, but somehow, some way, they have kept us in the last 4 games, only for Tua to blow 3 of them.

Honorable mention goes to Mike McDaniel for punting the ball with a minute left…when we were losing!

And finally, I’m so happy that we finally straightened out our special teams problems! On Sunday we only had THREE illegal formation penalties on a kickoff. You know the new kickoff rules? You literally stand on a line. We failed to do so THREE SEPARATE TIMES. Not to mention two game-changing roughing the punter penalties this season.

Nothing ever fixed. Nothing ever changed.

Ross meets with McDaniel and then is happy to report they are in agreement about frustration. No changes coming.

When is the draft?

  1. Talk radio in South Florida is really down on the Dolphins. They have said the “team sucks.” And just this morning, they jokingly stated which running back do you have for your fantasy team? And the answer was “who’s the guy on the Chargers?” So yeah, it’s bad. McD will be gone at the end of the season. Sadly, I think we’re stuck with Grier and I don’t think Ross has any intentions of selling anytime soon. We are perpetually stuck in football purgatory.
