Let’s hope the Bears recover form their heartbreaking loss last weekend in time to win a home game vs. the Patriots.   It’s the first time in a month that the Patriots had to travel anywhere, and they’re not quite the same on the road.

Meanwhile, we welcome the Detroit Lions to Miami.   They are not a strong team this year, but they still have Matthew Stafford and our old patriot nemesis LeGarrett Blount.    But I think we win this one 24-23.

  1. I said last week that the Bears game was critical. So is this week. When we laughably made the playoffs a few years ago by beating all the slugs and getting 2 gift wins by Cle and SF,this is a must win moving forward. We’re not a good team by any stretch and just like that playoff season,we got crushed by good teams. This week will show if we’re the 2018 version of that team. We got crushed by the Pats and beat by the hot and cold Bengals. We have 5 winnable games in the next 6,GB away isn’t 1 of them. Then losses to the Pats and Vikings and with the Jaguars playing so poorly, hopefully a win but finishing the the Jills in the dead of winter. Playoffs or not? I say not, sadly, after this surprising start. Hope I’m wrong.

We somehow manage to beat the Pats at home at least every other year. So we have a chance.
The Vikings just don’t scare me. Hell, Buffalo beat them. Why they threw Case Keenum to the gutter is baffling, and they are paying the price now.
Green Bay is always a frightening team on the road. You think the Pats get the refs’ calls at home? Just wait until Lambaeu. That being said, if Gase keeps using the playmakers like he has been, anything can happen. Jags are done. One-and-done lucky year last year. Blake Bortles scares no one.
The Jets, Bills twice, and the Colts?? Those are the games where you want to count as 4 easy wins…which mean we’ll probably lose 2 or 3 of them!

  2. Beating the Jills on Dec 30-no. You remember that game last season that should have been cancelled with a foot of snow on the field. Not that crazy this year but no,not winning up there. Hope I’m wrong x2.

    1. In 2016 Miami beat them in Buffalo to make the playoffs! One of my favorite games in this decade, Matt Moore and Jay Ajayi balled out, and if remember correctly even DeVante Parker had a long touchdown in that game.

  3. Not impossible by any means need to keep a decent run ratio and play good D. If the D isn’t tired they can make plays.
