New Dolphin Will Fuller will not play Sunday.
The team reported that a personal issue, not an injury, will prevent him from playing. I won’t dabble in speculation, but “personal issue” can mean many things, and in pro sports, they use that term to mean “none of your business.” So I will leave it at that.
I was really looking forward to seeing what he can do, and he’ll certainly be missed against the Bills’ tough defense. He missed week one with a substance-issue suspension, and at the time, Fuller said, “I sought treatment from a medical professional who prescribed medication that he believed to be permitted under the NFL’s drug policy… I have been suspended for six games for taking this prohibited medication.” He said he was wrong to trust the doctor.
Ya well this sucks! Anytime you don’t have weapons’ on the field against arguably the hardest game of the year something is big time wrong and at the wrong time! Last year Bufallo torched the Dolphins defense, in the last game Howard gave up over 100 yards and besides the pick I think every ball thrown his way was caught. I think we lost the last game to buffalo by over 30 points and the bend dont break defense we saw last Sunday is going to break to buffalo so we need all the offensive fire power we can muster to keep within 40 so although we can’t talk about it because it’s a personal matter, to me it shows something big time is wrong somewhere when we cant play a supposed big time player in a big time game.
I heard that this issue was actually the death of his mother. I cant confirm this but this is what I saw on a blog. If its true then condolences to his family and God Bless.
Yes something with his Mom fighting covid hopefully she’s ok. Don’t blame the guy if this is the case.
I think this game comes down to a more ball controlled offense and the D needs to be better. They are relatively healthy so no excuses.
Bummer on Fuller. His presence would have helped Tua. But My biggest concern against the Bills is our defense. We gave up over 400 yards last week against a team with a rookie QB in his first game ever. I know it was week 1, and we have some new parts on D, but man, we were lucky to get that W!
