Brian Flores has accepted a job with the Steelers as their LB coach.   It didn’t take long for Flores to appear in the NFL again, and it also seems like he never left.   Since the day Stephen Ross fired him, he has been in the news complaining about one thing or another.

Bill Belichick sent a text to the wrong “Brian” by mistake?  Better sue Stephen Ross for that !

The Dolphins fired a guy who seemingly couldn’t get along with anyone?  Better sue the entire NFL!  I’ll sue the Giants too, while I’m at it

Can’t make the playoffs during your tenure AND can’t even tank properly to obtain the #1 overall pick?  Better blame racism. And sue John Elway.

Sadly, I bet their is racism involved.   I bet there is some collusion.   I bet there are hidden agendas.  But you have to pick and choose the things you complain about.   I don’t think it’s effective to whine about a new problem every day.  You cannot say that a black man can’t be hired as coach when Stephen Ross did indeed hire you.  It’s ludicrous logic.

  1. Yep it’s a little over the top and even worse his GM is black! Unfortunately it’s not a perfect world but you can’t blame racism under every circumstance. I bet if he made the playoffs he’d still be in Miami although going through assistant coaches like underwear is not good business.

I wonder how Minkah will do now that Flo is back with him? Maybe he’ll like Miami again….not!

LMAO, I never thought of Minkah until you just mentioned that. I’m sure Flo will be in Mike Tomlin’s office first thing tomorrow saying, “We should move Minkah to left guard. And if he questions the decision, then we trade him!!”

Flores back at it again, making claims about Ross bribing him to stay silent. Non-Disclosure Agreements are a standard part of most businesses where the employees are under some form of contract. I don’t know the details and cannot state that Flores’s camp is lying (especially since they posted parts of a contract online), but I don’t buy it.
When lawyers post things publicly (as opposed to saying “We will wait until we are in the courtroom”), that means they are trying to win the court of public opinion. But it’s backfiring already. If you follow the Dolphins on social media and see how the fans react, they’ve sort of had enough already. The public opinion is not in Flores’s favor at all. Flores is a multi-millionaire black coach whose main claim is that black men cannot be hired to coach. And he’s still complaining.

  3. I think Flores main goal is to make the nfl 95% black like the nba. The racism argument doesn’t bode well for me when 70% of the league is black. To me the nfl has the perfect mixture of white/black.

This might sound racist or racial profiling, but it is the truth and why both races are needed in the nfl. Black people are usually faster and stronger athletes and that’s why they succeed as RB, WR, etc. Whites on the other hand are usually smarter with decision making skills so they excel as QB, kickers and yes, head coaches.

  4. Wow, the comments here at just laughable and scream closet racism … 70% of the league is black … hmm, okay, and give me the percentage of black owners. Give me the percentage of black head coaches. The players are just expendable tools, blacks are superior athletes to most other ethnicities – this is just a fact, accept it. If you want to win you need capable to exceptional athletes and the best are black athletes, they are typically bigger, stronger, and faster, so of course most of an athletic league would be black – but those are really just the grunts who give their bodies for money until the bodies are broken, can’t perform the way it used to, or you find someone younger and cheaper with the ability or better potential. All the power is at the top in administrative or managerial roles – over 95% white.

Racism is and has always been rampant in the NFL. As with all the major sports, blacks weren’t allowed to play – a sign of the times one might say, fine. But even in the 80’s and 90’s most NFL teams did not want a black person playing QB for them as the belief was blacks aren’t smart enough to play the position … as if they were ever given chances to prove that but yet we have a long long history of white QBs who were just hilariously poor yet year after year white QBs were drafted like clock work and prominent black college QBs were converted to WR or another skill position because of of the racist stigma that blacks aren’t smart enough to run an NFL offense YET one of the most prolific QBs in pro football history is black – Warren Moon. Then we have Doug Williams, a black QB who played on hilariously bad teams before landing in Washington and dominating with the Redskins (more racism) en route to a SB against the great John Elway – who was laughably bad in that SB (and many others).

Fact, Bill B mistakenly texted Flores congratulating him on getting a job he hadn’t even interviewed for – meaning his interview was a sham and was ONLY done to comply with the Rooney rule – the Giants already knew who they wanted and got him while pretending to give the black guy a fair and honest shot. Now I know flat out racists and closet racists will just scream that the Rooney rule is racist, it’s just affirmative action in the NFL but put aside your sublimely stupid racism and look at it from this perspective – how else are minorities expected to be allowed in? On merit? LMAO, Eric Bieniemy is THE hottest OC in the NFL over the last 4 years and somehow he can’t get a job as an NFL HC and yet WHITE guys with NO NFL and even some with NO collegiate experience (just HS experience) are given HC and or other coaching positions in the NFL – how do you justify that – you can’t if we are going with the guise of “merit”.

And don’t be ignorant by making fun of the situation or saying things that are not true – Flores isn’t suing Ross, he isn’t suing Elway or the Giants – he is suing the NFL.

And what difference does it make that Grier is black, ever heard the expression of “house negro”?? Grier is a snake, no one should trust that clown, he slithered his way into the GM position, kissing Ross’ butt along the way with the occasional handjob – the dude was a scout for a long time and wanted to advance his career, he saw the opportunity and convinced Ross he could turn the team to a winner if made GM and he had Gase fired. A couple of things about that, how many bad picks with SOOOOOOO many draft picks has Grier missed on? The answer is way too many. He is supposed to be this great evaluator of talent according to Ross because all of his years as a low level scout.

The other thing about Gast being fired – now you can go back and forth all day about Gase being good or bad but the fact is that he took a very average (at best) team and took them to the playoffs his first year when the team was almost completely healthy. After that, disappointing seasons, but no one in their right mind would disregard all the injuries Miami had the following 2 years at key position which obviously derailed the season. Many NFL pundits were puzzled by Miami firing Gase because he had built a competitive team that just unfortunately suffered injuries to key positions 2 seasons in a row – and yes, injuries are part of the game but injuries to marquee players like your starting QB, WR, or defensive stars will derail ANY team.

The bottom line is Flores is wrongfully terminated, a power struggle is what led to his firing, and why shouldn’t there be a power struggle when those in charge can’t draft to save their lives or draft a player strictly to sell tickets (ala Ross wanting Tua) to be drafted AFTER a devastating injury). Flores did great for the crap he was given to work with. And things you have to know and understand is I did not like Flores after the whole Minkah thing and the “Tunsil will not be traded” lie but with very little talent to speak of on the roster, he produced two seasons with winning stretches that should have never happened – he had the team on the right track, hence EVERY NFL pundit was shocked by his firing, and even more so how long it was taking him to fill a HC position until the not so shocking revelations came to light – the NFL is a good ol boys club.

As for the ridiculous comment whites are usually smarter and they excel at HC and QB … let’s do a run down of all the white HCs and QBs that have failed throughout the history of the NFL. Whites will succeed more when they have a far greater disproportionate opportunities than their minority counter parts – do you know how stupid that sounds? Think about it logically, of course a people will mathematically succeed more when they are given 95% of the opportunities. But, lets challenge that with history shall we? When the white only NFL teams would play the black negro football teams which were coached by black coaches by the way, the white NFL teams were absolutely destroyed by the black teams – it wasn’t even lose, scores would be 55-12 (but mainly there were shutouts) and the like. And yes, you could argue blacks being superior athletes but we’ve seen great coaches win championships with average talent, where they’ve been massive underdogs throughout history – where was the great white coaching than? In all of those games??? The negro league teams were UNDEFEATED playing against the all white NFL teams. Let me say that again the negro league teams were UNDEFEATED against the all white NFL teams – the NFL teams were out coached and out played, even by the lower tier teams of the negro league.
