It’s official. All the third-and-inches pass plays and all the 5-WR sets and the “fun is better than winning” culture of Arrogant Adam Gase has ended yet another Dolphin season.
The Herald laughably says (without a shred of evidence) that change is imminent. The Sun Sentinel agrees. Have these writers not studied Stephen Ross before? The man rewards failure like no one else in sports history.
If you find out about secret meetings and changes that are coming, then please report it. But stop speculating and stop your wishful thinking, all under the guise of reporting facts.
Madam Gase is simply not qualified. And he proved it more than ever this year. If only the idiot called a handoff in the Colts and Bengals games…
Anyway, we are still alive if NE loses two more in a row, but we know the odds…
Some folks are saying Trannyhill and Gase will get 1 more year to prove what most of us already know. And that means another 5-7 wins and yet again,drafting between 14 & 18 with no end in sight. Ross doesn’t care. Whayever lip service he offers about Gase and Tranny will prove my point when he retains them. I’ll be 68 when the season starts and I’d like to see at least 1 more playoff game,preferably not on the road where we will lose by 30+. I know,wishful thinking.
The local media won’t question Gase onnhisnokays calls so neither does Ross
I have no problem keeping Tanny for another year to transition to another young QB. Similar to what Baltimore did but if the young guy wins out in training camp play him immediately. I just hate forcing a rookie QB into the lineup as some need to watch for a bit… either way Gase needs to go now.
And the pretender Chargers just choked away another game that mighta helped us. LOL. Chargers will get destroyed by New England in the playoffs.
Well the last two games are nothing but auditions for the team next year. Let’s see if Drake and Ballage can be a solid backfield combination for the future, put Minkah at safety so he can actually play his normal position, and admin I know you’ll hate it but we all know what Tannehill is, it’s time to start Fales in the last two games. He has been taking up a roster spot all year and it’s time to see if he can play at all.
But I’m terrified that Fales will beat the hapless Jags, and then Ross will extend him and Gase till 2024.
It baffles me why Burke still has a job.
I never ever side with a player who quits, but I will this time. Reshad Jones has every right to sulk. When some dipshit like Burke benches Jones so that Torrey McTyer can play, I’d be pissed. I don’t condone removing myself from a game, but I agree with Jones’s point. Burke knows nothing

I hope so. But honestly, these media outlets are just guessing. If they are right, they will look like geniuses who had insider info. If wrong, they simply blame their source.
To be honest, I’m actually surprised that Gase didn’t get a contract extension last week. It will definitely come now. Ross always gives the coach an extension as soon as we’re eliminated from the postseason. So sad
