I think, finally, that the Tyreek Hill situation might make Chris Grier get smarter when it comes to trades and free agent signings. Despite what Grier thinks, and despite what the players say publicly, and despite what the media portrays…I have a different take on things: Most free agents who sign with the Dolphins do so because they want the South Beach lifestyle and the lack of income taxes. Tyreek Hill and Jalen Ramsey were not technically free agents, but they lobbied to be traded to the Dolphins, which is the same thing in essence. I have always been leery of free agents who sayRead More →

Mike Vrabel is the Patriots head coach. Aaron Glenn coaches the Jets. Two tough head coaches just joined our division, while no-socks Yale grad Mike McDaniel remains our coach. You remember Mike McDaniel, right? The head coach who said he won’t tolerate players quitting in the middle of a game “anymore.” Meaning that it was fully tolerated during his first three years? By adding two strong head coaches to our division, I feel the Dolphins got weaker. Maybe Mike McDaniel can challenge that statement, but he is only 4-15 when tossing the red flag to make challenges, worst in the NFL, so I’d probably win.Read More →

A lot to write and cover in the coming weeks, but I thought I’d start here and open this up to our comments and debate. I was mad about the loss. I was mad at Tyler Huntley in the first half. I was mad at the defense in the second half. 32 points allowed against a 4-12 team is disgusting. I was mad at Stephen Ross, the ultimate dolt, who didn’t even THINK about making any changes. He could have at least PRETENDED to think about firing Chris Grier. Instead, Ross issued a vote of confidence to McDaniel and Grier about 20 minutes after ourRead More →

For the second time in three years, the Dolphins need a win in Week 18 with a backup quarterback at the helm. A few years ago, Skylar Thompson beat the Jets on the final game of the year to squeak Miami into the playoffs. Can Tyler Huntley do the same? Well, anything is possible, and the 2024 Jets are not very formidable. Aaron Rodgers played very well against us last month, and we only won because Jonnu Smith went off in overtime after Jason Sanders kicked a tying FG as regulation expired. We snuck past the Jets, at home, in overtime, while other teams destroyRead More →
