Sorry missed the chat but this could be a blessing in disguise they weren’t making the playoffs anyway and hopefully Gase and Burke are gone. Karma you were right that Gase won’t find work as he’s a shit OC he doesn’t understand balance. I understand that Jax has a good D but the offence again did jack shit. The D wasn’t horrible under the circumstances but overall how do you let a team run the game out when you know they are running. Burke simply doesn’t do enough. Ross please take care of business… please.
Tannehill will be gone as well which is exciting to say the least. Don’t be surprised if Gase gets another head coaching job people in the NFL love to hire bad coaches. Just look at the Giants with Pat Shurmur.
Not sure about Tanny if anything they will have leverage to renegotiate one more year or cut ties. Unless they hit a diamond in the draft it wouldn’t be bad to keep the guy one more year during transition but of course I’d hope to improve at any position especially QB.
Now Drake pretty much says he doesn’t want to be here next year and who could blame him. If Gase comes back he is guranteed to be the best player on offense yet somehow never touch the ball more than 10 times a game. Imagine if the chargers didn’t give Melvin Gordon the ball more than 10 times a game, that’s IMO the equivalent of what Miami is doing to Drake. Did you know Frank Gore as much as fans love him had the most rushes without a touchdown in almost league history. Meanwhile Drake has 9 touchdowns on the year and it still used less than Gore when healthy and freaking role players like Bolden and Ballage when Gore is hurt.
Gase needs to be fired or Miami will let another good to great offensive player leave (Landry, Ajayi, Pouncey). Before Jeff Fisher left the Rams people thought Tod Gurley was a draft bust, now with a better head coach look at him. I honestly can’t wait till Tannehill is gone and bounces around as a career backup for 4 years before disappearing into reality TV with his wife. I guess I understand how other fans might like the guy but all I will remember about him is late season collapses and telling teammates to have fun playing for practice squad trophies.
To me Gase should be the first to go ….how is it that we could never keep Pouncey healthy and look at him now in I think New Orleans ….Gase is keeping these players bubblewrapped ..
Yea Chargers and he is a top 10 center in football and going to another pro bowl this year. Meanwhile Kilgore Gases hand picked replacement was the 30th ranked center (PFF) before a season ending injury in week 4.

That pig Gase just called another bad game. The running game was not as hot as it was recently. Bolden fumbled. Ballage dropped an easy, routine pass. Can’t blame Gase there. But his insistence on the same long pass plays that never work? 100% his fault.
