For the third year in a row, we’re hearing all kinds of rumors about Dion Jordan moving to linebacker. Yes, the Dolphins need a linebacker.  Yes, Dion Jordan has done absolutely nothing as a defensive end.  But, no, the Dolphins aren’t moving him anywhere. The Jets have acquired former Dolphin and Pro Bowl MVP Brandon Marshall. You remember Marshall, right?  He was the Pro Bowler who was traded away from the Dolphins, apparently because Joe Philbin thought that Marlon Moore and Davonne Bess would be better playmakers. When Jason Fox first signed as a Dolphin last year, we at Dolphins Truth thought he would have more impact.  We studied him a lot, and found he was tough as nails and thought he’d be a great addition. Now, we still like him, but our opinion is lower.  He is tough, but he proved that he can be out-finessed but some of the NFL’s better defensive linemen.  But Fox adds depth and stability, and those are important factors for an offensive line that needs it. Reggie averaged over a thousand yards in each of his two Dolphins seasons. He worked hard and produced some amazing, electrifying runs, and he was deadly on screen passes.  Despite his production, Joe Philbin felt he wasn’t good enough to be a Dolphin. We really like Mike Gillislee and hope he can recover from his injury.  But Reggie is twice the back that Gillislee is, and his proven experience could make him and Lamar Miller a deadly combination. Thanks to reader Rik for pointing out Yahoo Sports’ recent rankings of all the coaches in the NFL…a list on which Joe Philbin finished dead last. Philbin in last place is not a surprise.  It’s accurate and fair.  And a little bit sad. Pro Bowl guard Richie Incognito is now a member of the arch-rival Buffalo Bills, and that is bad news for Dolfans. It’s just another item in the long list of exciting news that is occurring for the 3 other AFC East teams, while Stephen Ross keeps the Dolphins mired in morbose mediocrity. 2015 has been filled with exciting news for 3 of the 4 teams in the AFC East. Pete Philbin, I mean Carroll handed a free victory to the opponent in a similar way to how Joe Philbin has handed free victories to Dolphin opponents for three years. The headline says it all.  How can you NOT hand off to Marshawn Lynch?  How? Without a doubt, that was the worst play call of all time. Cocaine vs. Ecstasy I’m one of the few people who actually enjoys the Pro Bowl. Or at least I used to. I just think there’s someting cool about watching two enemies lined up next to each other as teammates once a year.
