So Laremy Tunsil has signed his contract, and the possibility of a long protracted holdout is averted.  So far, he is behaving and saying all the right things, and acting all the right ways.   We should all be grateful that both Tunsil and his agent have the wisdom to just sign the deal asap and start collecting their millions. So it’s time to review the 2016 draft from last week, now that the dust has settled and I am over my grieving period about the loss of Jamar Taylor. The NFL is releasing the schedule TONIGHT! Usually the league announces the schedule-release date weeks in advance and advertises and promotes it like crazy.   This year, no dice.    Luckily, I heard about this and confirmed with the league. The good news is that Stephen Ross has a successor in place, and a new owner can’t come fast enough. The bad news is that the new owner, who would take over upon Ross’s death–and who also has the first right to buy the team from Ross any time he is alive—is another New York City businessman. Over the past few weeks, veteran receiver Greg Jennings has come out more than once with a less-than-glowing assessment of Ryan Tannehill.    Jennings is among the first we’ve ever heard from who publicly states that Tannehill might not have what it takes. (We’re used to hearing rumors about this kind of thing, but never yet has a player just come right out and said it….although Miko Grimes certainly said it!) It looks like Texas A&M will be hiring former Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner to run its offensive line.   This is good news for A&M and for Coach Turner, who got a raw deal and was railroaded out of town because of that crybaby Judas, Jonathan Martin.
