The NFL typically releases its schedule on the Thursday before the draft.   That makes it this Thursday, April 18. Ross has let this team become such an embarrassment. There’s simply no identity to the Miami Dolphins.   32 teams in the league, and 31 team apps enthusiastically describe the team and promote fandom.   One team app enthusiastically asks you to buy Hard Rock Cafe shot glasses. A couple of Patriots tidbits that affect the Dolphins.  Maybe. Rob Gronkowski, who fell down to enable the Miami Miracle to take place, has retired.  Whoever his backup is will probably score 5 TDs and gain 400 yards against the Dolphins.  We are consistently the worst team in the world at covering TEs, especially backups. I thought it was a new day.  I fell for it.  I fell for Stephen Ross’s words when he said it was a new day and when he said he won’t try the same old things again and expect a different result. While I was elated to be rid of Arrogant Adam Gase, I have a bit of a heavy heart in saying goodbye to Ryan Tannehill. He did some good things here, and you guys know, I always appreciated his toughness and loyalty.   However, his faults were simply too many to be ignored and too serious to be tolerated. Out of all the stupid news that has occurred since Ross finally fired Arrogant Adam, the WORST news is that the Dolphins are re-signing DeVante parker for two more excruciating years. Looks like Danny Amendola is gone for sure.  Dolphins already score 50 or 60 points per game anyway, so there is no need to hang onto a clutch receiver who never ever drops a ball. The man who condones cheating got a little retribution. I will never forget when Tom Brady got caught deflating footballs, Kraft said the Patriots will own up to it and accept any fate that the NFL hands them. The league paid off Colin Kaepernick an undisclosed amount, and the Miami Herald’s P.C. Patrolman Greg Cote was quick to come to Colin’s aid.  He actually called Kaepernick a victim!  LOL. I’ve selected a trio of topics that the Miami Herald writers have dredged up this week. First is QB Kyler Murray, who will NOT be available when the Dolphins pick at #13.   In order to get this kid, the Dolphins would need to trade (i.e., sacrifice) some players and picks.  Is Murray worth it?   Nope.   You can’t grow overnight.   He’s a great athlete, but far too short to be an NFL quarterback.  Players like him are very used to be the hottest player on the field during their college days, then they come into the NFL and get a rude awakening. In the worst-kept secret in sports history, the Miami Dolphins officially named Brian Flores as head coach. The Rams tried 10 different long passes on 10 different third-and-shorts.    Jared Goff sits straight back in the pocket and allows himself to be sacked. He was simply Gawful. I swear, it was like watching the Dolphins’ offense.
