Get ready for more antics from Torry McTyer!

Let’s review.  Two years ago, while Xavien Howard was still a raw rookie, Tony Lippett was our best CB.   Last year Tony was hurt, so when he was ready to come back this year, he was gonna get his job back, right?   After all, that is Gase’s policy with Ryan Tannehill.

But no.   Gase cut Lippett.

Enter Bobby McCain as the starter.   Bobby is too short to cover taller receivers, and he’s too slow to keep up with the fast ones.  Did you see how well he played last Thursday when we got toasted for 5 TDs passes?

Earlier, while Bobby was hurt for a few games,  in came Torry MvTyer, who played like garbage.   He got benched in favor of Tankersley, who was playing well last year and should have been the starter this year all along.   Still following!?

So now Tank is hurt, and both Mc’s (Cain and Tyer) are awful.

Gase and Burke and whatever idiots call the shots on defense still use rising star Minkah Fitzpatrick as a nickel back only.   It’s time to let him play real CB.  Give the kid a chance.  Let Tyer and Cain come in as situational substitute, not Minkah.

Easing Minkah into the NFL by making him play slot nickel has not worked.  Our defense is getting gashed alive by opponents and by injuries.  Give the kid full responsibility for the defense and see what happens.    They can’t get any worse, right?

  1. Remember when the Jets scored 24 in the 4th period to beat us? I do. They are so bad now but so are we.
Play him at CB the remainder of the season and see what he can do. If he gets toasted the last 8 games, and I see it happening, play him as WS where he belongs and yet again, draft ANOTHER CB. How many have we drafted recently under TannenBUM?

  2. Maybe at WS,he can intercept 4 passes in 1 game like Dick Anderson did. Wishful thinking!

  3. None of us are Adam Gase so we need to erase this entire website and shut up!

  4. Yeah heard the news it’s unbelievable already. I can’t disagree with you Fitz can try CB he can’t be worse and McCain is better as a nickel anyway so overall better plan. Unless McCain was just rusty? I’m hoping anyway!!!

  5. I other news …isn’t it great to see the patriots get to play green bay at home and the dolphins get to play them in green bay …rigged NOOOOOO.

  6. Always works out that way. I honestly believe that after the league fined the patsies kraft whined and they said no worries we will give you great schedules. They have went to London but haven’t lost any home game’s whereas Miami’s lost 3! How the fuck does that work? Also factor in the Thursday night road games Miami’s screwed even more..

Well, as far as our NFC schedule goes, THAT is the only fair thing. We play the NFC North every 4 years. 4 years ago, our home games were Green Bay and Minnesota. Patriots played them both on the road. This year, it’s all reversed. Same thing in 4 more years. That part is fair. The Thursday night annual fiasco, giving the Pats month-long homestand, allowing them to both START the season AND FINISH at home? Now THAT part is bullshit.
(Thanks for making me re-live bad memories!! The Packers playing in Miami 4 years ago was Philbin’s infamous game when he called a timeout to help the Packers. Then we beat the Vikes in Miami in December but were eliminated form the playoffs that day anyway. Stephen Ross gave Philbin an extension that afternoon. Ross watched his team get eliminated and then rewarded the coach. Only in Dolphinland

      1. Philbum called a TO on 4th and long after Rogers was sacked and in disarray clock ticking down. He wanted to Kodak their play…what a tool. A kid playing madden football wouldn’t do that…

      1. Definitely will! Lots of Jets fans here too though. 🙁
