The last time Matt Moore played in a prime-time night game, he dismantled the Jets last December on his way to leading the Dolphins into the playoffs. He doesn’t shy away from the big stage, so I expect no fall off from last week.
However, the one thing that can derail Moore is Adam Gase and his continuous awful play calling. Will we see screens to Landry for zero yards? Will he call zero play actions? Lack of innovation makes Gase’s offense far too predictable.
Typically, the Ravens are contenders each year, but this season, they can’t put anything together. At the beginning of the season, this Ravens game seemed a lot more intimidating than it is right now. Joe Flacco and Mike Wallace are still a dangerous combination, and the Dolphins cannot take that lightly. Although we won the Jets game, they put up 28 on us, and we only squeaked by because of a laughably bad play call (throwing a pass from your own 10-yard line with 40 seconds to go in regulation?? Thanks!!). 28 points are far too much to a crappy Jet offense, and Baltimore has a lot more fire power than the NYJ.
I disagree with cutting Byron Maxwell, but that is a done deal. Our backup DBs, whoever they will be, must step it up. I expect Baltimore to run a lot of 4-wides + tight end formations. That means they will have 5 men running routes. Our starting CBs are a rookie and a second-year man who missed a ton of his rookie season with injuries. We can only pray that joe Flacco doesn’t read this, or else he’ll know our DBs are unproven…
The good news is that the Raven defense is not as formidable as in years past. They still might stack Jay Ajayi and our running game, but I trust Matt Moore much more than I trust Tannehill or Cutler to recognize the formations in front of him and adjust. Our O-line is banged up, but that doesn’t seem to affect Moore as much as it did Cutler or Tannehill. He knows he’ll race a pass rush and not just sit there in the pocket. Hopefully.
I’m predicting a Dolphins win tonight. As much as I hate Thursday NFL games, I think this one will have a happy ending.

Remember how Moore played against the Ravens last time?
I assume you meant Ravens 38, Dolphins 6 last year?
That was all Tannehill ! Moore didn’t play
Yea tannehill throw two interceptions in the end zone in the first half of that game which made the score look much worse than it should of been.
