  1. Yo man, what’s up with your Devante Parker fetish?

    1. Author

Hatred, yes? Disrespect, yes? Fetish, no.

With his lazy ass on the bench we are 2-0. The 4 WRs playing so far are playing their asses off. Amendola and Grant each almost got decapitated and each held onto the ball. Both of those woulda been turnovers if Parker were the intended WR on those.

      1. Dude, you sound like a jilted lover. I remember when the Dolphins drafted Jake Long with their first pick and that bastard was always hurt and all he had to do was block, but I don’t remember anybody lamenting about his problems like you do about Parker.

Give it a rest, the shit is getting stale.

You mean 4-time Pro Bowler Jake Long? He missed 6 games in 5 years. Yeah, he stunk. Phil, keep on defending Parker and keep on defending the guys who kneel and raise their fist. As long as we’re winning, even your incorrect facts and lopsided opinions won’t spoil the good mood !

          1. Jake Long had back problems, a torn bicep, and he had to get his knee surgically repaired, okay? Jake Long didn’t have to worry about getting his block knocked off after catching a ball. Parker was drafted out of college with a bad foot and had to get it surgically repaired with a screw in it. Unlike Jake Long, Parker was basically damaged goods from the get go. Now, as far your constant whining about players who kneel or raise their fist, every time you see one of them catch a ball or run for touchdown, I bet you jump and down and holler like you just won the lottery. So your asinine opinions about what they’re doing on the sidelines during the national anthem damn sure don’t spoil your “good mood” as long your team is winning, and you know what that makes you?.. a fucking hypocrite.

              1. I don’t have to relax. I’ve been a Dolphan since at least 1969. I’ve held and put BOTH Dolphins Superbowl rings in my hands and on my finger because one of the players (whom I won’t name at the time) was dating my best friend’s sister. Hell, me and some of my buddies used to sneak into the Orange Bowl to watch Dolphins games. So no, I’m not some fair weather fan. I have been through the highs and lows with this team for a long time.

                1. Oh yes and because your some old guy who has watched a lot of Dolphins games that means what exactly? We get to hear you bitch and moan? We get to hear that anyhow since admin never bans anyone.

I’m glad you love the phins but just because you do doesn’t mean your going to come hear and everyone will shower you with man love all the time. If you make a comment and someone doesn’t agree your going to hear an opposing opinion. Admin hasn’t set up safe spaces for you and Jay yet so if you need that sort of thing you may want to find another venue where your safe.

                  1. Oh looky here, big bad Brian. Who are you? One thing I’ve learned growing up is that if nobody is talking to you, then shut the fuck up. You think because you come on this site and spew long winded opinionated bullshit that makes you some of kind Dolphins Truth vanguard? You wish you had the ability to run me off this site, don’t you? I didn’t ask no one to shower me with shit. Admin didn’t ask you to hold his nuts, so why are you sticking out your hand and offering to hold them? Are you Gay Brian? This site isn’t here to make you popular or seem knowledgeable so don’t try to make yourself out to be a football Einstein who everybody is supposed to love. I only gave a tiny sample of my past to let people like you know that I’m not some little punk coming on here and talking shit. I’ve been living, eating and breathing aqua before you started wearing your little tidy whities.

Next time you wanna defend somebody, defend your old lady and let a man hold his own nuts.

            1. So just so I can see if I understand your logic. I can’t be happy that my team won AND be disappointed that one of the guys on the team pisses on the USA at the same time?

              1. Look dummy, if you want an example of pissing on this country, look up Timothy Mcveigh. Look up the Parkland school massacre. Focus on something that people died in because someone with a bomb or gun decided that they don’t givashit about this country’s laws or citizens who ain’t doing Jack but minding their own business. Players kneel and then they get up. No one died, no one got hurt, and then all you care about is if they caught that ball, ran for first down, or tackled that receiver or runner before he scored on your team.

          2. Ignore Phil,he’s clueless which is obvious re: his laughable Jake Long post. Move along,Phil.

            1. I used to see Jake Long getting beat constantly by rookies on the other side of the ball so don’t talk like he was some kind of impenetrable object.

    2. @PHIL,I’ll tell you what’s up with MY Ms. Parker fetish. She is laughable. She is a huge draft error that our Back Office refuses to acknowledge and cut her. We can’t even get a 7th rounder for her. She isn’t missed. I’ve been saying this since she was drafted. She is soft AND injury prone. WHEN she manages to actually get on the field, she rarely contributes. Was I clear enough?

      1. First you say “Ignore Phil” and then you want to address me… make up your mind. And you really need to seek counseling about your Devonte Parker fetish. Heck, the Dolphins kicked Jay Ajayi to the curb for a six round draft pick, so if I were Parker I to would hope to leave a team with such hate filled fans like yourself KARMATOURER and land on a team that might win a superbowl. Now what football team did you actually play for…..

        1. @ADMIN-why is the homophobe idiot still allowed to post on this site? He has insulted everyone here, including you. His type needs to be banned and be limited to his normal, middle school audience. BTW,PHIL,I’ve been a fan since 1965.

          1. Author

I try to keep it open to everyone. Even our old pal Jay. I ended up banning him not because of his stupid opinions, but because he was using other readers’ screen names, trying to fool me into thinking you guys were saying things when it was really him.
As far as Phil goes, He’s entitled to his opinions, but not his facts.
Jake Long was a Dolphin for 5 years. He was a Pro Bowler for 4 of those 5 years. That shows you the NFL voters saw his worth.
He was the Dolphins’ offensive captain, and that shows you his teammates saw his leadership.
I don’t know why Phil brings Long into a discussion on DeVante Parker, but he did, so i set the record straight.

            1. I agree we’re all mature enough to take some comments with a grain of salt. We all have our moments but don’t forget that in the end we all love our team. I love hearing different views whether I believe in them or not. Go Fins!!!

            2. I see Admin that you conveniently didn’t say anything about setting the record straight concerning some of these guy’s constant whining about NFL players kneeling or holding up a fist. You didn’t because there is no record to “set straight.” Here’s something I’ll set straight for you though: Number of people who died or businesses that got destroyed because of NFL players kneeling – 0.

          2. Hey KARMATOURER, I didn’t call you, Brian, or anybody else out, you picked a fight with me. I addressed Admin and only Admin. Now, I’ll take aim at you, you dumbass fool. I can tell you’re a little wimp and always have been one. Look at you, wanting to get Admin to do your keyboard fighting. You see Miss KARMATOURER (oh yes, I’m referring to you as Miss), keyboard badasses like you don’t frighten me one bit. You’re and old clown to me, so stick to your usual name-calling claptrap on this site and don’t mention my name, or I’ll have you whining like the old little sissy you are. I don’t think Admin created this blog site for people to come on here and make friends, and I didn’t come here to make friends. I don’t know anybody who leaves a comment here and I’m not trying to know any of you. And if you don’t like that, TOUGH TIDDY!

And by the way, the Dolphins didn’t start playing until 1966 fool.

” I don’t think Admin created this blog site for people to come on here and make friends”
              —True!
I created it because I couldn’t stand Joe Philbin’s management of the team, plus I couldn’t stand how other Dolphin blogs would edit comments and not allow comments if you criticized the team.

  2. A A B. Tanny wasn’t perfect but he kept at it and finished the game on the last drive. Can’t ask for much more in that scenario. They definitely need to clean some stuff up but overall not bad for a young team.

Still can’t believe that ESPN ranked them last to start the season especially with teams like the browns, bills, etc…out there.

  3. As for Parker he will have to earn his way into the lineup today was a wakeup call. I’m glad that Gase didn’t just throw him back in. They are playing like a team when someone screws up they back him and no one is cowering playing tough.

Forgot to mention that Alonzo is having a good start another forced fumble big play today and a lot of tackles. He’s definitely rebounding.

Fun stat: Tanny is 9-1 in his last 10….I’m sure some won’t believe that!

    1. Flyer…… you are obviously spewing FAKE NEWS because everyone on the planet knows that Tannehill is a horrible QB! We need to quit messing around, release Tannehill and move Matt Moore into the starting position before this season is to far gone!

      1. Haha Matt Moore that always cracked me up. It’s like everyone hanging on Fitzpatrick’s ballsack now you just know that he will hit the same wall he’s been hitting for his entire career. He can be good but also real bad same with Moore. Everyone tells me that this team is so horrible espn says dead last yet they are 2-0. Tanny is so horrible but he’s 9-1 in his last 10. How the hell did he even do this especially with some of the bad play calls we see every week? Could Brady do that on this team without the patsies infrastructure? Would be interesting to find out…but that truly blew my mind after hearing about how bad they are.

  4. Gase ought to stop calling stupid ass plays when it’s obvious that he has the game in the bag. Throwing the ball on 3rd and 1 is so idiotic. And fuck sake I hate it when Tannehill holds onto the ball too long and tries to scramble his way out of his own made predicament, he’s just too slow at getting away from 280 defensive linemen!

    1. Yeah we chatted about the ridiculously long pass plays called on short yardage. A 5 Yard pass is one thing and you can bust those for big gains but you simply don’t have time or have to be perfect for 20+ yard outs. Especially when you are running for 5 yards every down why piss around with that crap?

  5. Admin let’s cut Gase a little slack on this one. He won on the road in the Meadowlands! It’s a great win for us and tilts the probability of sweeping the Jets to at least a 65% chance. Also I would like to point out that Gase DID NOT abandon the run! This to me is amazing because he almost never keeps running the ball in games like this.

Also can we give a little love to Bobby McCain and Reshad Jones? They combined to keep Herndon out of the end zone right at the end of the first half. It was a big time stop with some big time hits. To me that was the play of the game because if they hadn’t made that play it would have been 20 – 7 at halftime and than 20 – 13 in the 3rd after the Jets scored again. That would have been a different game.

Also I read over at the Herald that Parker was cleared to play and wanted to play but Gase said….. nope! To me this is another reason to give Gase some props. He sees the chemistry with the guys on the field why disrupt that to put and underperforming primadonna in the game who isn’t going to play hard anyhow. They should have traded him by now.

    1. Gase was better with the run but he still overlooked it a few times. Either way much improved on both sides of the ball. Gore kind of saved their ass today too but this is where the team concept comes into play. It’s not all about one star. Wonder how Jarvis is feeling now???

    2. Author

yes, there is SOME slack here, because there are slowly but surely improvements. Late in the game, we did NOT want to give the ball back to NY Jets. Even with 30 seconds left and the Jets 90 yards away, none of us would feel safe. But Gase called a good final drive. Didn’t even need to score because we ate of 6 minutes of clock. That was his best-called series of plays since he started.

And it’s two weeks in a row that we scored 3 touchdowns. Would like more, but we’re still growing.

  6. Minkah seems like a star, him, Jones, Howard, and McCain could potentially be one of the best secondaries in the league. McMillian on the other hand does not, he’s way to slow and got burned on that touchdown. Kiko played great, and the dline somehow for the second week in a row looks better than it did last year. Offensively the second half was an awful mix of bad play calling and stupid turnovers. Gotta clean that up against better teams, Oakland is 0-2 so next week they’ll be playing for their season.

    1. Totally agree. I was a little pissed at the bad line that McMillan took on that TD but he’s just coming back from a year off so I’ll give him a pass. It will take some time before he’s totally comfortable. He also made some nice tackles and jumped on that fumble. Look at McDonald he missed some tackles then made a nice pick so it happens.

Oakland is definitely winnable but they will be snarly so the Fins need to continue to improve. Clean up the crap!

      1. Author

Yes, and he had to reach under the WR to pull the ball away from him on the fumble recovery. That showed strength AND determination. I was pleased to see him fight so hard for that ball.

  7. The Cleveland Browns announced Monday they traded wide receiver Josh Gordon and a conditional 2019 seventh-round draft pick to the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2019 fifth-rounder.

To make room for Gordon on the roster, the Patriots cut former Browns first-round pick Corey Coleman. The Browns signed free-agent wide receiver Rod Streater.

Thoughts? The guy can’t stay off the weeeeeed so we’ll see.
