Not a lot of Highs this week.
Brian Hartline’s touchdown catch was impressive. Tannehill threw that ball a hundred miles an hour, and Hartline was only 5 yards away. Somehow he corralled that ball into his body and fell without dropping it. A great catch and pass.
Caleb Strugis is recovering from a shaky start. His 3 points early on from a 40+ field goal set the tone. We couldn’t sustain it, but it was a nice start. In the past, he would miss those and allow the opponent to start their next drive with excellent field position.
That’s about it. If there are other players who did well that I’m missing, send us a note.
The LOWS:

Joe Philbin continues to make errors that take his players out of the game. See yesterday’s column for his huge blunder. Amazingly, the announcers and other media outlets aren’t even mentioning this. It’s because it’s one of those quiet mistakes that occurred in the first quarter, but it was a game changer. And, more importantly, it proved that Philbin cannot manage a ball game.
Greg Cote of the Miami Herald mentioned that this loss might cost Philbin his job. Really? Duhhhh? People have been saying that for the past three years, but Mr. Ross is always gun-shy to fire this guy. Why? Who knows? We have a head coach who cannot get us past mediocrity, despite all the opportunity we give him. He simply is not good enough.
The defense. I’ve studied the game twice now, and I can’t quite figure out if it’s the players, the execution, or the schemes, but something isn’t right. We had a 10-0 lead with 3 minutes left in the first half and pinned the Ravers back on their 3 yard line. I guarantee you, they weren’t thinking about scoring. They wanted to move the ball at least a little to give themselves some breathing room. unfortunately, we gave them way too much room.
But giving up a 97-yard drive isn’t the end of the world. What DID hurt was that they did it in 3 minutes. How? How could they just move our defenders aside and have their way with us.
And if Joe Philbin is going to use his most favorite tool (calling a timeout on defense), then why not do it when Baltimore got to about the 40? Give the D a minute to rest WHEN THE DRIVE IS STILL STOPPABLE. Don’t wait until they’re a few yards away from the endzone. Philbin’s mismanagement is palpable.
The offense. First and goal from the 4. Four plays to gain 12 feet. If Ryan Tannehill simply falls forward twice, he gets in. But we failed. I don’t mind the Miller run on first down. Same play scored against the Jets. The play is solid and it has worked. It just broke down. The next two plays took the heart out of the Dolphins. Poor execution all the way around.
Bill Lazor. Why doesn’t he call more rollouts and naked bootlegs for Tannehill? It’s mind-boggling. I don’t care about the deep ball. We don’t need it. We scored 36 at Denver with short passes. it works. But let Tannehill help it work, don’t hold him back.

Everyone but the cheerleaders deserve a low vote.
Professional football don’t make no sense to me I mean here are the Dolphins that had shutout the Ravens until around two or three minutes left in the half and got the Ravens pinned down around their own goal line then all of a sudden wham bam thank you ma’am instant touch down for the Ravens and then Dolphins have first and goal from the four and can’t get it in for a touch down score what the F…! is with these guys? Is professional football rigged to a certain extant or football gods calling the shots?
I just re watched the game and here is my careful analysis.
We will pick this analysis up with the score 10 to 0 when things started to go I-95 South.
2nd and 10 with 5:28 left to play in 2nd quarter. Tannehill extends play and makes brilliant throw to Wallace for big gain. Called back on another intelligible man down field penalty. Okay so our players did extend past the line of scrimmage before he threw. My question is unless your an official looking to call that and not watching for other penalties, how could this have been called so many times? I wonder if I analyze the Ravens offense if I find them getting away with this multiple times. Its a difficult penalty to call and why it so rarely is.
Next: Missed block assignment on 2nd down caused strip sack
3rd and 26 screen pass called on next play? On 3rd and 26? huh? Punt.
Ravens 1st and 10 on their own 2 yard line. Watch closely Jelani Jenkins. I like him too but rewatch in slow motion. He moved right leaving that huge hole
wide open up the middle for Flacco to run through. There was no reason to do this but he must have seen something that wasn’t there.
Later on:2nd and 5 Forsett’s run . Reshad Jones is blocked in the back by number 39 or would have tackled for marginal gain. Penalty not called.
2nd half
Start the half with 2 false start penalties then the 2nd ineligible man down field is called. Even the announcers
disagree and state we never crossed the 30 yard line. We went from 1st and 10 to 1st t and 15 and finally to 1st and 20.
2nd down and 20 Screen pass to Wallace? hmmmn okay got about 9 yards.
after the play tannehill is yelling at somebody before the huddle. He’s pissed about something.
Next play is a decent pass but falls short of 1st down because unlike our defense. The Ravens tackle on first
contact most of the time.
Another ineligible man down field call on the punt.
Commentators suggest Harbaugh has campaigned for this call and it seems they are giving it to him.
Ravens ball 2nd and 7. Intentional grounding. Didnt look to me as if he had escaped the pocket as is the requirement. He threw while still between the hash marks and only moved to his left about 6 feet from center. But our guys get ineligible man down field calls if they are an inch too far up field.
3rd and 7 next play. Jimmy wilson gets beat watching the qb instead of his receiver for a 1st down. I dunno here and someone correct me if im wrong. But this tactic is bad b/c the receiver was behind wilson and could have run up further and gained even more space for a longer yardage catch. I get doing this if the receiver is in front of you but behind?
Our next drive after Baltimore scores making it 14-10.
3rd and 3 on the 49 yard line 4:16 left in the 3rd quarter.
Wide open screen pass to damian williams with more yardage potential than needed for the first down. Tannehill looks right at him then looks downfield and gets sacked. It appeared as if Damien Williams was first in his progression. This is pocket presence and decision making and is on Tannehill. Watch the play. It was a sure 1st down and this sack was a huge turning point of the game. Tannehill has regressed back to his previous years habits of failing to respect the pass rush. What happened to the pump fake to slow the rush down? What happened to the quarterback that played so incredibly vs Denver? Pass protection? not this time. Yes Dallas Thomas blew it. BUUUUUT. If you know your lineman are playing badly YOU have to account for that and be ready to compensate and adjust. I hated doing this in my sports time but its inevitable that your game is partially controlled by the inadequacies of your team mates. Tannehill WTF! THIS ONE IS ONE YOU PERIOD.
Fast forward: Ravens ball 3rd and 10 from their own 6 yard line. 2:22 left in the 3rd quarter. Flacco sacked in the endzone for a safety which wasn’t awarded to us. Watch the play in slow motion, knees down AND ball still in the endzone and NOT across the plane. NO CHALLENGE WHY? Further WHY wasn’t this originally called a safety to begin with? He fell foward after his knees were down. SAFETY period. Even Mike Carrey the officiating expert said it should have been a safety. I will say this again for effect. NO CHALLENGE WHY?
Punt by ravens then Awesome play by charles clay to get us to the 4 yard line.
1st and goal: Predictable run up the middle even though that choice wasnt working much lately. Tackle for 7 yard loss. Its too obvious there. Play action or run around to left or right. Up the middle? CMON
2nd and 11 on the Ravens 11. False start shelly smith. 5 yards
2nd and 16. What? Pass into the endzone to Mike Wallace = No effort to catch it . Okay okay so possibly the ball was un catchable in bounds. But if he had caught it and still was ruled out. What kind of morale effect would that catch have for our team and the Ravens? Even catches called out scare the opposition and effect their play calls. I feel the ball was catchable given Mike Wallace’s athletic talent and resume of big time catches in the past. How does this effect tannehill’s confidence in Wallace?
3rd and 16. Nobody blocks CJ Mosley. Tannehill is sacked. There is clear dysfunction creeping in at this point and its been brewing for most of the 2nd half. This is either execution or play calling. How does this happen when he lines up on scrimmage and nobody picks him up? If I were Dion Sims I would have atleast looked behind me to see if someone was handling that necessary block or assessed the O-lineman formation for insight. Why isnt this coached? Things go wrong all the time and the players who have a chance to save plays are not told to or dont care enough to insure it doesnt go wrong. Again this is called situational football, allow or coach the players to adapt even if it means abandoning the play. There are certain fundamentals for every play to succeed. These important aspects can be instituted and emphasized. This allows a team to adjust on the fly and just get it done no matter how. This play is a crucial window into the deep mechanics operating our team. Too much robotics and adherence to detail which can be summarized as Over Coaching. The play being run accurately over rides the necessities in plain view. I lean on the side of coaching issues here. Dion probably had a feeling but wasn’t coached to pick up CJ if he saw a troubling look and instead ran his route.
4th and 16 Caleb Sturgis FG. Really when you get the ball at the 4 yard line? The definition of our team. Almost but not quite good enough.
Ravens ball on the Dolphins 49 Yard line pass to Steve Smith for 1st down. Watch the play. Obvious push off on grimes caused him to fall to his knees. He even used both his arms to do it separately. No Offensive PI call.
Again no significant penalties called against Baltimore. This trend continues.
1st and 10 Ravens ball from Dolphins 31 yard line. Busted coverage, Tight end wide open for a big catch. Who was covering? Wheeler. They took the bait off a fake hand off and were out of position to defend.
1st and Goal Ravens. Run up the middle and hits a wall of dolphin defenders. Apparently they didnt learn a lesson from us here. When its blatantly obvious it probably wont work and it didnt.
2nd and Goal . Flacco is sacked with a fumble which is overturned afer review. Yes his arm was moving forward but the impact of wake was to Flacco’s upper arm causing Flacco’s arm to move forward involuntarily. If something strikes the mid area of your arm what happens? Your elbow collapses and your arm moves in the direction of its natural bend. Watch in slow motion you will see this should have been upheld as a fumble. Seems the reviews or lack thereof always favor the Ravens even though this one was close. His arm was in a backward motion when hit and when the ball comes out not forward. His empty hand was the only thing moving forward at this point. Even the announcers say his ARM was moving forward and I agree but it didnt have a ball attatched to it. Its a fumble.
3rd and goal. Easy run in for a touchdown. Demoralized the surrender was complete even if our offensive unit didnt know our defense had given up. The fake handoff slowed our advance on the play just enough to keep the hole open for the score. Why when it was so obvious!
1st and 10 dolphins ball. Dallas thomas gives up a sack. He leaves his feet too much and plays too high. Allows rushers to control him predictably upon first contact. Once they realize they are dictating his blocking style they use that to put him into bad spots physically. Then seize the opening. He needs to play lower and his feet need to be closer to the ground and behind his center when adjusting. Use your waist and legs to twist and less 2 leg hops to gain leverage. Attack the mid section by lowering your legs and facing slightly downward while keeping your arms outstretched and engaged. If you play up high and your legs underneath you even for a slight moment, you cant oppose a rusher waiting for you to do that. I know this and never have played football except for games as a child in someones back yard.
2nd and 14. We obviously cant protect tannehill but refuse to run here. We should have and avoided a near interception. What about this game up to this point told us Lamar Miller couldnt get us some yards. NOTHING. And what about Charles Clay? He just had an excellent play earlier and appears to have excellent YAC ability.
3rd and 14 . 8 yard pass to Miller. Obvious ruffing the passer which was not called. I sense bias! A reff was within 5 yards and looking directly at Tannehill from directly behind. Even the announcers thought so. Isnt this Goodell’s team? Ive heard this rumor before and recall briefly watching them play the Steelers and the extremely questionable calls against Pitt when Baltimore were trying to score within the 5 yard line. Another drive sustaining penalty not called.
Next play. Punt by Dolphins. Illegal block in the back called against Baltimore. See guys this is how you keep your credibility while screwing the other team if your a referee. Non calls on crucial penalties but to make up for it, call something else later to maintain the appearance of neutrality on a play that matters little.
Ravens drive the nail in the coffin. 2nd and 10 after a stop for no gain. Forsett’s 44 yard run. Reshad Jones is out of position and cant tackle him within 5 yards. Instead has to chase him down. But more importantly holding from baltimore player 81 on cameron wake. Of course it wasnt called. Watch in slow motion if you dont believe me. And I ask this. How many times can the officiating and lack of offensive performance go on until frustration and hopelessness take over the mentality of a defense that knows in its heart and soul it is better than its opposition? This is that point folks. And the rest is history.
Reasons why we lost.
Lack of Offensive creativity. We failed to adjust to their adjustments and abandoned the run with little indication it needed to be. Play calling/coaching cost us dearly. What was odrick upset about while standing on the sideline? Well if we were on offense during those exchanges, then we all know. BTW in the post game interview with Odrick he almost lost composure and started crying. You can hear his voice stammer and see his eyes start to swell. This man has HEART and his love for the game is far beyond NFL pro status and the huge salary he gets. I looked for emotional people like him when I would recruit players. Even if they sucked bigtime it was only a matter of time before they became great. Odrick is one of those people. And he isnt petty so for his emotions to come out like that indicate something significant was nagging at him until he couldn’t keep quiet anymore.
Obvious issues with Pass protection which I just cant in good conscience acquit Tannehill of anymore. He’s done the crappy O-Line routine before and should have a sense for it. However, if hes over coached to follow the game plan and forget improvisation then possibly his performance isnt his fault. Who knows! But what happened to his near prodigal mobility in games past especially the Denver game which I feel he played better than Manning? Rare pump fakes in this game and even when it was obvious the pocket was unpredictable, he still stayed there like a sitting duck. Tannehill you need get it done and consider the play as a guide not a blueprint.
Officiating: Calling meaningless penalties against Baltimore but nothing significant. Nothing to stop a their drive and nothing to sustain ours. BIAS favoritism. Its a tall order to overcome that disadvantage.
Defensive frustration: Trying to hard to get back on track and impress with stops. Just embrace the fact that there is plenty of tape to study for your opponent. Shift into management mode and less on trying to regain your former place as a stingy defense. A win is more important than your identity and reputation. Didn’t you learn that from the Jets game?
Injuries: We are depleted to an alarming degree and it has much to do with the intensity and heart our team is playing at. There are only so many adjustments and schemes we can do to address this. Baltimore had the luxury of sticking the run and picking on our secondary when we shut the run down. This was obvious in their body language and execution. They were never worried or hurried and knew it was a matter of time before this game became theirs. Our lack of offensive production was a constant re assurance and gradual morale foundation for them to take the game away.
Thanks for reading my long post. Its been therapeutic for me. Now I understand the formula for this loss. If your not getting out of your own way, you cant overcome injuries and reffing bias. All Baltimore needed to do was play an average game. They did just that and didnt make any huge mistakes.
Whats the most significant problem? I feel its overcoaching and the absence of 2 way conformity between the players and the plan. Its one way and at times that direction can be shown in sad evident plays which could have but didn’t go our way.

PhinsUp Out!
One of the reasons we started this blog is there are no other places for knowledgable fans like PhinsUp to write a long, objective analysis like that, and for other fans to agree or disagree.
I read PhinsUp’s entire comment, and I’ll be back with some analysis tomorrow. Great stuff. It raises questions that only the NFL and Joe Philbin can answer…
By the way…That was 100% a safety. I will show some video evidence tomorrow. Philbin blew it by not challenging, but there was so much he did wrong in that game, I didn’t even have tim eto mention that one, but it was huge.
I didn’t even hear what Mike Carey was saying specifically. I was too busy yelling. Did Carey really agree with us indicate that it should be a safety?
@admin
Yes he Carrey did but politically smoothed it over by saying it was “not enough to be conclusive” . I dont even have NFL total access with coaches film to study. And his knees were down about 1/2 a second before he fell forward. Thats and eternity with instant replay. Complete and total safety and the review was easy and far from inconclusive. REFFING BIAS FAVORTISM .
If you were REAL football fans, which I would assume you are, you would know that if at any point the ball crosses the plane before he was down, its not a safety. Yes, you are right. When his knee is down, the ball is in the endzone. However, right before, he manages to break the plane of the endzone and is then pulled back. That is why the challenge never occurred. Coach saw it.
FinGuest, and I suppose the coach saw Flacco fumble the ball after getting sacked and hit so hard that his arm went forward causing the refs to reverse the call after Dolphins recovered the fumble and apparently stopping the Ravens from scoring so I don’t see how the review did any good when both times the Dolphins got bush whack by those reviews and yeah, no need for a challenge when you know your not going to win it, Dang Bush Whackers!
@FinGuest Congrats if you’re correct. Your knowledge is better than officiating expert Mike Carrey whom not once but twice during the game said it should have been a safety. If Flacco did cross the line and that is the rule. I politely stand corrected.
I should have watched the replay first then posted. Anyways the ball never left the endzone. Yes Flacco lunges forward but if you watch closely the ball is in the endzone the entire time. But for the sake of it being very close. Why was this play not automatically called a safety and then possibly overturned on challenge by Baltimore? Instead it was ruled a sack and the risk of the challenge put on us. Further they awarded the progress of the ball from where he fell not where the ball might have been when his knee was down . Which if the ball was indeed out of the endzone it could only have been about 1 inch at the most. Reffs ruled he was down where he placed the ball. And it is more than obvious upon review the ball was in the endzone when he was sacked and his forward progress was not nearly as far as the spot before the punt. You may call this sour grapes but this is poor officiating and dare I say bias. Again crucial penalties and calls never ever serving us. Only meaning less penalties which have little effect on the game called against Baltimore. I dont ever wish to rely on close call plays or penalties to win. But when it is clearly giving the other team an advantage I will take exception.
PhinsUp, you say the “risk of a challenge” in on us, and that is a good phrase. It would be a risk to make that challenge and it would take guts. but look at the risk that a championship coach like John Harbaugh took by going for it on 4th. he took a HUGE risk and it paid off. Philbin wouldn’t even take a tiny risk. And it’s a risk he would have won!
http://dolphinstruth.com/upon-further-review-dolphins-keep-losing-because-philbin-makes-incorrect-decisions/
I agree totally there. But my problem is the body of evidence leans heavily towards it being a safety in my opinion and should have been ruled such first. The bias represented itself by the omission of the reffs to call a play as it obviously was. Instead shift the burden of proof to the other team and leave open the possibility of Baltimore quickly punting before Philbin could get word from upstairs or make up his own mind to challenge. This is bias officiating and left Baltimore in the best possible position to avoid that call. And further these excellent reffs can spot ineligible man down field penalties with laser like precision from the sideline which is over 75 feet away from center of the hashmarks. Hey you guys know me and know I dont call out officiating after a loss . But this game stands out and we havent even gotten to the fumble ruled as a forward pass. Sheesh
Lastly yes D-Truth you are 100% correct Philbin should have challenged this call. Somebody screwed up here ! Possibly our review experts upstairs. Remember Philbin has a very good record on challenges. But even if they sent word or failed to , Philbin should have taken it upon himself to challenge it. Run up to the players and ask them! Look at the Jumbotron! Read the crowd reaction! Take insight from many resources when trying to make a decision. Dammit thats what I would have done.
FinGuest, we allow all kinds of comments on our site, but we do not allow incorrect and inaccurate information. PLEASE LEARN THE RULES before you make incorrect comments. Your statement about the ball crossing the plane on a safety is 100% wrong. Please read our latest column, which includes the actual rule quoted from the rulebook.
http://dolphinstruth.com/upon-further-review-dolphins-keep-losing-because-philbin-makes-incorrect-decisions/
I stand corrected. I was indeed wrong about just breaking the plane to avoid a safety. For that, I apologize. I will restart my investigation with this new information.
No problem. It’s always great to get new fans to our blog (even if you accused us of not being “real fans.” 🙂
Just wanted to make sure we started off on the right foot! Welcome.

Please go about 3/4 down this page at the photos of the safety. You will clearly see his knee is not yet down and the ball is outside of the endzone.
Better yet, he is the picture. Knee not down, ball extended OUTSIDE endzone. Don’t be a bitter and bias fan.

http://i57.tinypic.com/iqacuw.jpg
Look at Cameron Wake’s sleeve. Holding in the endzone. Safety!
Not ready to stick a fork in them just yet. Going to be one hell of a fight in Foxborough this weekend. The team is seriously pissed and is going to take it out on Brady and company. We can overcome the injuries, bad play calling, and bad officiating. The Ravens game was a classic trap game coming off a close emotional game against the Jets. Saw this one coming a mile away. It isn’t over yet guys, not by a long shot.
@Farilyodd
Thanks for your positive comments. Im usually the one lone person posting positivity and I still am. But this game was disappointing because we didnt loose to a better team dare I say we lost to an inferior team. Im still brooding over it. But I will be ready to cheer them on vs the Patriots. Gosh even if we dont make the playoffs, sweeping the Pats will give us something from the this season we can be proud of. And if we sweep the jets too even better!
FairlyOdd is right…. we are only a game behind with 3 to play. We lose one-on-one tiebreakers to Baltimore and to KC, but chances are, it will not be a 2-team tie at the end of the year. Chances are that it will be a multi-team tie, and in that case we are in better shape. A long way to go and we are not dead yet. but Philbin is still terrible even if we win out. 🙂
We didn’t lose to the Ravens, we lost do to inept officiating and bad game management by our head coach, period. No one could have expected to hold out against a team of refs who couldn’t get a call right if their lives depended on it, much less an ineffective head coach who always seems to have his head up his arse. The team as a whole should be very fired up for this weekend’s matchup, they have nothing else to lose at this point and the Patriots have allot more to lose, including home field advantage. This looks like a classic trap game for them this time around.
I was just about to get on here myself and write a lengthy review but Phinsup pretty much summed up everything I was intending to write. Although I disagree about the two Flacco plays, the sack near the endzone and the pass that was ruled incomplete, I agree that several penaltys against us were horrendous and enough to help swing the momentum of the game. We were up 10 zip with what should have been a first down in Baltimore territory on a beautiful scramble and throw from Tannehill to Wallace that was called back on a what I will understate as a ticky tack call on Pouncey for ineligible man downfield. We score there where up 13 or possibly 17 zip. I also agree about Steve Smith’s obvious push-off on Brent Grimes as well as the late hit on Tannehill by Jernigan. This along with the Denver game are two of the worst, most one-sided officiated games that I’ve seen this year. The current NFL product is garbage due to the politics and bad officiating but the American public is so in love with football that we tolerate it anyway. But even with the questionable penalties this team is still in a position to win these games. It’s only these things coupled with inept preparation and lack of adequate game management that doom the dolphins to lose to good teams. Joe Philbin had a chance to right the ship and steer the franchise in a new direction and him and his coaching staff did what they always do by coming up woefully short. Case in point, why is Dallass Thomas still on field when it’s obvious by now that he can’t pass protect on a NFL level. He’s the new Jonathan Martin. But when asked in the press conference Philbin says we play the best 46. Jason fox and Billy Turner can’t get a shot with the way this guy is playing? At least try them out and if it fails you know you need new options going forward. But to leave players like Thomas and Wheeler on the field in situations in which they simply don’t excel is ludicrous. Philbin’s stubbornness consistently kills any chance these players have at excellence. Good coaches put their teams in position to win but unfortunately Miami doesn’t have them. I fully expect to lose in New England next week. One because they want payback for earlier this year and two because have our secondary either hurt or on IR. We may finish 9-7. with an actual quality NFL head coach we could be 11-5 easily. Despite our improved talent our coaches will continue to lose us game because they can’t outcoach anyone. Don’t believe me, just watch the K.C. game along with this game. Two games in which we had the lead or were close late in the 2nd half and were out-adjusted and out-witted. It’s time to clean house and jettison some guys. Gibson, Wheeler, Ellerbe, Pouncey, and Wallace are obvious candidates. Some guys I listed are underperformers and some are actually good contributors. However Wallace and Pouncey don’t bring enough to the table to me to justify paying big money or picking up expensive options on. Pouncey is talented but I’m tired of what I perceive to be a lack of maturity. Wallace has had a bounce back year but for the money I want a true #1 receiver for the money he is making and preferably a guy who won’t give up on passes even if it’s questionable if they’re catchable. And for every deep ball Tannehill has overthrown or underthrown to Wallace in the past two years there are just as many more that I thought may have been questionably catchable but Wallace misjudges a lot of balls in the air and once he does this he gives up on them. I haven’t seen him sellout for a deep ball even once since he’s been in Miami.
The sack was indeed a safety. I had to write a column about this today because some Dolfans don’t know the rules.
http://dolphinstruth.com/upon-further-review-dolphins-keep-losing-because-philbin-makes-incorrect-decisions/
A the house cleaning includes Joe Philbin and Coyle also. I don’t blame Joe because he should have never been hired but we need quality hire this time and even though all the big free agents are injured Hickey did a damn good job in the draft and free agency this year. Where would we be without Landry and Juwann? Would we have beaten New England without Knowshon or Branden Albert. We have had inexpicable injury luck also. Next year maybe we can target a big receiver in free agency. Crabtree is a free agent and I feel that he would develop with a pocket passer like Tannehill. Plus he’s good at breaking tackles and his yac type game fits our short passing offense perfectly. Line him up next to Landry and Hartline or Landry and whoever and you have a dangerous line-up. I list Crabtree because he’ s a quality receiver that may be added for cheap. Plus draft’sign a speedster to stretch the field and you have replaced Wallace for cheap. Time for a revamp y’all. May need to shop Wake or Starks for draft picks. All players are talented but we need to fill holes at guard and at the middle linebacker position and that takes cap space draft picks. Our new gm and hopefully new coach deserves a chance to build the team how they want.
Say what you want and get ready to disagree with me, but I’d love to see Rex Ryan running our defense next year…
Ryan would be a great defensive coordinator but I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets head coaching offers from other teams. He actually might not be a bad head coaching candidate for us if he can hire the right offensive coordinator.
Could you imagine what Rex Ryan could do with our front 4?
Hell Ryan and Morninwig would be instant upgrades for us. Even though I must admit that Lazor has been decent.
PhinsUp that was money couldn’t have said it better myself…thanks bro!
