  1. 1. QB
    2. Mayfield
    3. DE, one thing I learned from reading Dolphins Truth is that we always draft defensive ends, no matter how many we have on the roster already.
    4. They will say “safe choice”
    5. I want to stay put.

  2. I say if 1 of the 4 qbs are there at 11 you take him ….if not maybe trade down a few spots and grab a extra 2nd pick and take the best lb available ….although I’m hoping Mayfield will be there at 11 …that man has a fire in his belly and can rally the troops and that’s what we need where Tanny after a 3 and out puts his head down and sits on the bench by himself.

  3. If Mayfield or Rosen are there, they should/will take one of them. Otherwise I’m hoping for one of the top LB’s, Smith or Edmunds. If they are gone I think they should explore trading back. If that’s not an option then I think they should take M. Fitzpatrick, D. James, V. Vea. In that order. The first two can play all the back end positions and bliz as well. And Vea could be another Suh.

  4. As we can all see, the Dolphins went from the number 11 pick, all the way down to picking number 22 in the first round.

See, this is why us fans can’t trust this organization’s front office.

Where have you seen that we traded down to 22 ?

      1. Keep up ADMIN… keep up……..

      2. Sorry Admin, you’re right. I woke up and was looking at the NFL network and they were showing last year’s draft.

        Disregard what I said.

I just laughed out loud literally. You scared me! I’ve been scouring every source I have and reading every site I know of and found nothing. I was beginning to think “Anonymous” was Mike Tannenbaum with insider info !

          1. With Mike Tannenbaum at the helm, don’t laugh just yet. I don’t know about you ADMIN, but I’m still scared!

  5. Oh well, look like the “Dullphins” and us fans will be stuck with mediocre quarterbacking for quite a while.

  6. 1 – QB

2 – Rosen or mayfield (Prefer Mayfield because he seems to LOVE football more)

3 – I think we all know it will be a reciver! (Joking) probably LB which is safe and huge need but not as big as qb

4 – The experts will always criticize the Dolphins no matter what they do. The experts could say in all there mock drafts that Miami should take player A and when Miami takes player A the experts will say “In my expert opinion Miami should not have taken player A”

5 – if Miami goes for a qb I don’t care how high they move up. Go get a q.b.

5b – if they take any other position I suggest they move down if they can get a second or high third round pick.

In the end Miami will pick crap players because we have idiot mike Tannenbaum running the draft. He destroyed the Jets and he has done nothing but destroy the Dolphins since he got here.

    1. I hear ya Brian. But signing Osweiler leads me to believe the Dolphins figure they have their quarterback issue solved and they’ll probably be looking at drafting a defensive position in the first round. Like you, I would love it if the Dolphins picked Mayfield in round one of the NFL draft. But if Mayfield’s not there, then I think Jackson or Allen would be just as good at QB.

      1. Agreed I don’t think that they will want to carry three QB’s on the active roster. That rule should be changed since it’s so important for the league as QB is huge. Let teams groom one with no penalty would be great for the game. Otherwise they probably only take DT, LB, S/CB someone to cover Gronk in the first unless they trade back. Maybe oline but that could be done later as well as TE. Will be interesting…

Word is that they will be taking a QB but still letting T-Hill start. I wouldn’t mind that. I wouldn’t mind taking a LB either. However, despite the need for LBs and a good backup QB, I suspect that Flyer is correct…I think we’ll will take an unglamorous position player like DT. Having said all of that, do NOT be surprised if we draft a DE or WR at #11. It’s just the Dolphin way the past decade: picking a player where you have no need whatsoever.

          1. Unless one falls I’d wait until 2nd or 3rd find a guy there. They have too a few holes to fill don’t really of having the luxury to use a first on a project. LB would be great.

    Of all the days…
I have a family emergency that I have to attend to, so I don’t think I’ll be able to see the draft. Just my luck. You guys keep the comments coming, and I’ll have to watch my DVR when i get home…

  8. I think Rosen might fall to us….so they will take him if he’s there. Hope all is well admin!

    1. Never mind…. Arizona just traded Oakland!

    2. Now I want Edmunds or Fitzpatrick!

Thanks, Justin. One of the in-laws had to go to hospital, but all is well.

  9. I am good with that pick! Stater DAY 1!

  10. Very fortunate to have him fall to them he was supposed to go top ten. He’ll cover Gronk!

  11. Great pick with Fitzpatrick imo, an impact player day 1

  12. TJ will apparently be a hybrid LB in nickel played it in LA. Back up in secondary. MF will be the FS cover TE’s. I like it as teams are so pass happy these days.
