Tom Brady whining and crying and appealing means bad news for the Dolphins.
A few months after Patriot liar owner Robert Kraft said that the Patriots would accept whatever fate the NFL handed them, Tom Brady’s whining got his suspension erased. And that’s bad news for Miami.
Well, it’s not horrible news. The Patriots were going to win the AFC East with or without Brady for those 4 games. But now they will win it even easier.
Let’s face it, the Dolphins added a star player or two this off-season, just like they do every year. They had a good draft (on paper), just like they do every year. “This is our year” is the mantra among Dolfans and the media. The Bills and Jets arevery similar. We hear this every single year.
The only team you do NOT hear about how they improved in the offseason is New England, yet every year there they are.
I think it starts with the coaching. Bill Belichick is genius enough to win games even if Brady would have been suspended. The way he manipulated Pete Carroll into blowing the Super Bowl was a thing of beauty.
On that final goal line stand, everyone KNEW that Belichick would call a defensive time out to preserve time for Brady. But no….he let the clock keep ticking down, He refused to use a defensive timeout. His defense remained steady. Pete Carroll was the one who panicked.
Compare that to the way Joe Philbin uses defensive timeouts, and you see why he will never overcome the Patriots.
Philbin gave away the Packer and Lion games, plus had a huge role in blowing the Chief and Ravens games. We had a potential 12-4 season if we had any other coach in the league. THAT is the difference.
So, yeah, I don’t like the fact that Brady got his way and got no suspension. But I don’t think it matters much as long as Clueless Joe is calling the shots on the sideline.
Also, as we’ve stated before, we have to respect the Patriots’ tenacity. They didn’t like the Wells Report on Brady, so they fought it tooth and nail. Even after they said they’d abide by it. Compare that to the Wells Report on Richie Incognito, where the Dolphins acquiesced with no fight at all. Dolphins fired coaches and assistants and cut players and did whatever the NFL suggested. The Patriots did something different. They fought for a guilty man, and got their way. Genius.
The pats didn’t so much win but the NFL lost this with their procedures. Everyone knows that they’re guilty…well except some pats fans…but it didn’t matter as they handled it horribly. On a funny note they’ll appeal and possibly win later in the season with brady missing some playoff games. Now that would serve those pricks right.
If the appeal fails then it’s going to be open cheating season for the pats. The Fins may as well join them or continue to get screwed. Just appeal anything that happens in court that’s obviously the ticket….
