Probably not. But one never knows.
I decided to write a few positive things here, now that the embarrassment of Sunday has subsided a little bit.
The offense played better. 28 points should be enough to win against a bad team like the Falcons, but it wasn’t. If you take away two game-changing horrible decisions from Tua deep in Atlanta territory, and take away another miss by Jason Sanders, then we’re in the 45-point neighborhood. Yeah, I know you can’t really “take away” those mistakes, but it shows we were close.
Malcom Brown went down, and Salvon Ahmed immediately stepped up. Unlike other Dolphins, this guy played hard and wanted to be out there.
We ran the ball more and better. The play calling was crisper. We threw a screen to Myles Gaskin at one point, and for the first time all season, he was WIDE open. That is a play we have to keep.
But…After we got the strip-sack of Matt Ryan, on the very next play, the Duncecap Coordinators called for a 5-WR set, and Tua gave the ball right back to them. In the Jags game the week before, right after we got a strip-sack on Trevor Lawrence, the very next play Tua threw an interception also. Although the play-calling was a little better, these jokers still keep trying for a home run right after we get the ball back. It’s not the way to do things.
We need to run the ball and grind out a drive…even if we just get a first down or two. Our defense had JUST come off the field, and they had to go right back out there. Looking for a home run with a 5-WR set is just really bad football, and it’s a shame that Brian Flores doesn’t understand the basics.

Yep totally agree especially when the run game was working and they don’t even have 5 decent WRs right now. Plus a weak oline. Stupid! Jackson let his man come in untouched with no help and the rest is history..
No, we don’t have a chance at all. To me the offense isn’t the problem. Our defense is our weakness. They can’t stop anybody. I expect the score to be similar to the Tampa Bay game.
To answer the headline- one word- no. We’re gonna be dismantled as we are the worst team in the NFL.
