Mac was certainly better today, helped by an outstanding game plan. Short chunk yards all day long, and we were powerless to stop him. Meanwhile, the Dolphins’ game plan was to have TWO offensive coordinate design plays with 5 WRs. Tua ran for his life all day because they refused to call more slants and screens.
the problem with slants and screens is that they are unsustainable in the long term. But, yes, they were required today.
I don’t know about that….anytime an opponent uses it against us, it sustains and it beats us all day long.
Blitzes are useless because the QB gets rid of it so fast.
