I think Chris Grier is purposely stirring the DeShaun Watson rumors to distract the media from asking him how his draft picks like Noah Inactive and Hunter Long are doing.

There may be some merit to this. On the Joe Rose radio show, they were asking why Flores is always answering questions from the media that Grier and maybe Ross should be answering. After November 2, the trade deadline, we’ll know if this was all a ploy. Flores won’t have to answer the Watson questions anymore.
Good point, now that I think about it. Ross remains silent and makes Flores answer trade/backoffice questions
