After watching Arrogant Adam Gase barely and luckily squeak by one of the worst teams in the NFL, it’s time–more than ever–to fire him.

The man has no answers.  The jokers he hires are even worse.   If not for Charles Clay falling down, would Matt Burke still have a job? (the answer is yes, because he’s Gase’s pal).

I am always interested in hiring Super Bowl-winning coaches, no matter what.  If only Stephen Ross thought like myself and thought like a winner.

  1. The only way to win is with a team of great coaches. No real coach wants to be associated with the Dolphins. Ross should call McCarthy, offer him whatever he wants money wise, give him control of the entire football side of the operation and remain an absentee owner.

    1. Exactly. Remember,Ross has experience hiring a HC when he already has one!

  2. Clay didn’t drop it-he was lucky to touch it. Iwas as bad as al the other bad passes Allen threw today. Wide open by a mile like others he missed.

    1. True but it still pisses me off that Gase gave them the opportunity. All that the POS has to do is call a QB sneak and milk the clock. Ballage could have even done it under center but no let’s set up in shotgun giving the D time to react. POS!!!!!

      1. So true. Always trying to be cute. The guy is a bum he must go he is the problem. Everyone wants to rag on T-hill but the culprit is Gase. Ryan is solid not great. Miami left New Egnland 3-1. Ryan came off the field with a nice lead with he was playing well the running game was clicking, the defense was doing their thing. The offense comes back out after Cincy did squat. Facing a 3rd and 1 from almost mid field Gase dials up a pass. All you need is one yard. If they ran a sneak a dive or some quick play they would have gotten the first down and Cincy was done, you could see in their faces they were gassed. Game over. They beat the Bears. Green Bay same thing Ryan has them in position but Gase calls pass plays when you want to impose your will and kill clock. Ditto in Indy, Ryan leaves the fins up 10 and Gase’s play calling dooms them again. In each of those three games by imposing your will with the run game late in the game when you have the lead and in control Gase fucks it up. Cincy is when the wheels fell off. Ryan got hurt he’s out for five weeks and the team is listing. Those three games were wins in Miami’s grasp. With those wins builds momentum, confidence, and swagger. I’m not saying Ryan is anywhere near great but he is good enough to lead this team. Since Dan the Man left, Ryan has done the best out of all the qb’s this team has had. Gase is over his head he doesn’t Have the IT factor. His play calling is what has doomed Miami. This team could be 9-3 if that fool didn’t blow the Cincy, Green Bay, and Indy games with his horrible play calling in key situations when running the ball would get you the desired results. Situational football is what is stressed in New England where I live. What do you think ole Bill B. would have called under those scenarios?

While I don’t think we are a playoff-caliber team at this point, Larry is realistic when he says we could be 9-3. No doubt about it.
The Cincy and Colt losses were 99% on Gase’s fault. His refusal to run the ball while we hold a lead is utterly baffling. His logic in defending himself is utterly infuriating.
The Packer and Lion losses? BOTH of those teams have a worse record than us. They are weak, defeatable teams, but Gase had no game plan, other than to sit on the bench all by himself and look at his chart.
Yes, before the season, the Packers and Lions seemed like strong teams, but they are not. Gase feared these two teams timidly, instead of attacking them. Realistically, we could have beaten them both.
9-3 is not a pipe dream. It it a realistic estimate of where we could be right now if Gase called better plays.
How do we all see this, except for Stephen Ross?

Karma, his feet clearly gave way. Had to dive at the last second because his legs were tangled.

  3. It was as bad as all……….

  4. I’d hire McCarthy in a second! Funny but philbum is a HC again I know interim but either way packers have lost their minds.

    1. I know I thought that was hysterical but isn’t Aaron Rodgers now the HC?

  5. NFL Network ram a story after the game titled….. Miami back on track. What Morons!

  6. Well ADMIN, you said Ross likes mediocre, and that’s was very apparent when he gave Jay Cutler a ten million dollar contract and after that, threw a contract at Osweiler. Yeah, oh yeah, it would make all the sense in the world to go an get Mike McCarthy right now… but Ross has more fun watching us Dolphans suffer. People can say what they want about the Buffalo Bills, but that rookie Josh Allen is a very dangerous quarterback and I don’t think the Dolphins can beat him next time they play. The Bills franchise looks to be on a good path for their rebuilding, while the Dolphins look, well, blahhhh……

  7. There is a quality HC available (McCarthy )and I believe there are others out there that would be in the pool of hire-able head coaches for 2019. But the moron owner does not pay close attention…cuz if he did, he’d see that Gase is not getting it done and Tannehill as well. If he wants to win, he’ll make a change; if he doesn’t, we know he really isn’t on the winning side of things. We have had way too much of a QB that is just “ok”-that does not cut it when other teams are getting players above the thread of “ok”, they are looking at the next level, to put a winning team together. Just being OK is not OK with me and Dolphin fans. The Bills are working hard to get the winning team they want bec. winning is what they want. Ross is not ever going to be an involved owner for this team. He needs to sell the team. Oh, yeah, Philbin as interim? Did they not learn by our mistake!

  8. LOL, every single time a coach gets fired, half the people on this blog (and thousands of others on other sites) say “We should hire him”

    1. So, I guess you’d rather stick with Gase?

  9. Ok guys I need a reality check!

The last two weeks have been a depressing time to be a Dolphins fan. I know you may thing, “Last two weeks? Don’t you mean last two decades?” Yes I know it’s been hard for a long time but in the last two weeks we have found out our coach can’t learn and the game the Bills handed to us all but insures Ross keeps Gase and his circus in town for another losing season at lest. I watched the last game against the Bills and I know many of you did too but what I saw was a bad team (The Bills) outplay an almost equally bad team (The Dolphins) and yet lose not by the Dolphins beating them but basically making to many mistakes to win the game. With that as the backdrop Monday there is a story in the Herald, “Hands of Clay SAVE Dolphins season” Save the season? The season is over, were .500 with a clueless coach! But it got worse yesterday were treated to, “How the Miami Dolphins are in the playoff hunt” and “Look around the NFL reveals Miami Dolphins not as troubled as fans might believe” and than this beauty from the NFL Network, “Why the Dolphins WILL make the playoffs”

Yesterday I had to google the Dolphins record! I thought maybe it’s 11/5/19 and I just cant remember the last year, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone! What the hell is going on? The crappy Bills lose the game and were going to the Playoffs? WHAT?

Who here thinks were going to the playoffs?

    1. No way, what Miami will do is lose the next to games in blowouts to get to 6-8. They will be eliminated from the playoffs then win 2 straight games to end the season and fuck up there draft spot.

      1. I agree with Admin the injuries hurt but the players are doing their best under the circumstances they were trying. Gase and Burke are letting them down making it harder. Either way they still don’t have enough yet to take out the top teams. The only reason why they are still breathing is because the NFL has become more and more balanced. Three quarters of the league are similar only a few plays separate them. I guess if anything the Fins do have the ability of hanging in there when it looks like they should flop have to credit the players for this.

    2. This team can not make the playoffs because it cant beat any team that has good offensive coordination and does not make more than 3-4 mistakes. Gase still does not know when to call certain plays and as We’ve seen from no fewer than 3 HOF ex-great players, Gase’s play designs suck. That is why they can create 2-3 turnovers per game and not put any points on the board after those turnovers. Gase forces the offense to play a perfect game in order for them to score 10-17 points because he NEVER puts them into advantageous positions (run on 3rd and 15 or pass on 3rd and 1). And does any player ever improve under Gase? the O-line continues to allow untouched rushers in the backfield and everyone is almost always wide open.

  10. Oh little tidbit I heard which is shocking Tanny is 10-1 in last 11 at home. How the hell does this happen. His overall record I think is 12 or 13 and 3 or close? How? Good schedule or not how with this team?

    1. Remember that there has been a lot of time in between those 11 games due to injury.

So here are the teams he has beaten from most recent.

’18 – Buffalo 4-8 – the Bills gave the game away we didn’t win it
      ’18 – Jets – 3 – 9
      ’18 – Oakland – 2 -10
      ’18 – Tennessee – 6 – 6
      ’16 – Arizona – 7 – 8
      ’16 – San Francisco – 2 – 14
      ’16 – Jets – 5 – 11
      ’16 – Buffalo – 7 – 9
’16 – Pittsburgh – 11 – 5 – Ben Roethlisberger aka “The Rapist” was hurt early in this game and Jay Ajayi (A Pro Bowler) ran for over 200 yards.
’16 – Tennessee – 30 – 17 – The only winning team we faced at full strength and we lost!
      ’16 – Cleveland – 1 – 15

So there we have it. Nothing new for us here. Tannehill can beat crappy teams! Guess what a lot of back up QBs can too!

      1. Author

We beat San Fran because the refs didn’t see Suh facemask Kaepernick on the last play of the game. We beat the Cards on a last-second field goal by Andrew Franks–in a game we blew a huge lead when Gase decided to call passes while we led by 15 in 4th quarter. (Cards woulda won, except JORDAN PHILLIPS blocked an extra point, and Walt Aikens ran it back for 2 Dolphin points). These are a couple of LUCKY wins against garbage teams.
Also in Week 17 last year, when we had the chance to knock the rival bastard Bills out of the playoffs, Gase gave his starters the day off and let his buddies play. Didn’t even try to win a professional football game, and his boss didn’t even notice.

        1. As you said these wins were in spite of Gases idiocy imagine if they had a HC that knew what they were doing… they may have beaten some quality opponents too. We can’t put every win or loss on Tanny is my point. Burke F’d up the D on some losses too…

  11. X is apparently week to week with a knee injury. Typical either best player or QB injured some sort of curse…

    1. Author

Yep, I was going to report this. The bad luck continues on the injury front. Baffling why we cut Tony Lippett in order to give david fales a roster spot.

      1. So Gase can keep a buddy employed? Ridiculous… I am hoping that X can find a way to play but either way I’m not sure that they can win…

  12. Jim Harbaugh apparently wants to coach the dolphins. This is the best dolphins news I’ve head in years.

    1. If that’s true than that could motivate Ross to get rid of Gase at the end of the year

      1. could definitely be possible. I’d be ok with that because Gase does the same shit over and over doesn’t learn…

    2. I am a Michigan fan and this may not be a good idea. Harbaugh is also ultra-conservative. He has 0 wins against his rivals. He lost to OSU with clearly beater talent this year. So I dont know if he is the best choice.

  13. Author

Where did you hear/see the Harbaugh interest? I think John will be fired from Baltimore, and I’d hire him in a second. Didn’t know Jim wanted Miami job.

    1. Couple of sites like phinsiders for example. Idk how legit that is though
