The danger of winning some truly meaningless games in December is unfolding before us.   The San Diego Chargers need a quarterback.   They pick AFTER the Dolphins, but they could easily trade up and move ahead of us.  If they want Tua, the possibility is there.  If the Dolphins value Justin Herbert more, then it’s not a big deal.  Let the Chargers THINK we want Tua in order to force them to trade, and then pick Herbert anyway. The NFL announced that the Jaguars will play not one, BUT TWO, “home” games in Europe this season.  Owner Shahid Khan is even worse than Ross. Much like Ross, Khan feels that he is in the entertainment business.   In addition to fielding an uncompetitive NFL team, Khan also owns a pro wrestling company.  He just tosses money around wherever he feels like, instead of focusing his passion on his NFL team.  Sound familiar? My heart says Kansas City (and Matt Moore, Damien Williams).   But my gut says the 49ers will win. I would have no problem with Nick Saban ditching the Dolphins if he didn’t lie to our faces all season long and say it was not gonna happen. That leaves the Skins, Lions, and Giants. The consensus is that none of those three teams need a QB, let alone Tua. I DISAGREE. I forgot to mention a few things in my post-game Bengals report, which I attended live. First, before the game, I was watching the warmups and all that.   Bengals DC Lou Anarumo (former Dolphins DB coach and eventually interim DC) went over to the Dolphins side and was received warmly by some of the vets.  I think it was Reshad Jones who gave him a nice hug.  Pre-game handshakes are not uncommon, but Lou stuck around for about 10 full minutes. The Dolphins hired Chan Gailey today as our new offensive coordinator.  I’m not opposed to this hiring, but I wish it had come a year sooner. A year ago, I was harping on the fact that Ross should have ordered inexperienced Brian Flores to hire a veteran OC.   He sorta kinda did that in Jim Caldwell, who couldn’t make it through the season due to health concerns.  So now we have Chan Gailey, who definitely brings the experience. The Bengals are gonna win in Week 16.   If we simply step aside for them in Week 15, then Joe Burrow is ours.   It’s that simple.
